  1. ^^ Getting there zubairhussain123. Have you thought about where the wires are going to go in? Would be a good idea to have some sort of cable dis-connector plug imo so if you want to take the box/sub out for more space it will be easy to do. Can't remember what there called but basically it's a plug that all your wires for the Sub go into and it just pulls apart for when you need to dis-connect the wires quickly. Hope that makes sense to you.
  2. Welcome Mark. Introductions & welcomes usually go here btw; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/7-introductions-welcome-messages/ Some threads here you might find useful; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22880-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/24796-top-100-faqs-must-read-wip/ For £10K your probably looking at the HR engined Zed then are you? ..there's plenty of choice for that budget. Have a look at the Zeds for sale on here.
  3. Has anyone warned him though that the penny trick can cause damage?! @Space Cadet ~ if you do try the penny trick be warned that it could cause damage to your nice body work. I'd just get the new stronger springs from Pete if I was you and removing the weight doesn't help. .
  4. Exactly my thought's. Boil's my blood seeing these idiots fighting like that in such a public place with women & children all around. They truly are scum imo.
  5. Have a look here. http://www.350z-uk.c...ix-boot-pop-up/ That's what I was looking for. Found the 350Z one though.
  6. I'm guessing it was necessary originally when the gas strut's where new in order to make it easier to close the boot. After years of use though the gas struts do weaken so not really as necessary for the boot weight anymore. Some info in this thread on the various fixes; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/3162-faq-my-boot-hatch-will-not-stay-up-what-should-i-do/
  7. Probably the most likely cause of your problem is the boot popper assist spring as these weaken over time/use meaning after you press the boot release button it doesn't lift high enough to clear the lock & you have to press it again. See this thread for a nice guy who can help you out; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/78643-boot-popperassist-springs-reconditioning/
  8. After joining this site I've now got quite a good selection of detailing products as SuperStu, downhuman, ilogikal1 & a few others have all given me advice and inspired me into trying to do it properly. Tbh lately I've been loving my Meguiars products and just received there 3 stage system for Christmas. Yet to see how long the results will last but my initial trial/test results are good. Although it is a lot of hard work but when is detailing not. Available from Halfords in case your interested chirag1988.
  9. I agree, hence why I put "cheapish". Edit: Doh! See below.
  10. Make's sense. Your bound to run out of things to do on the Zed soon enough.
  11. My Mrs got me a 1/24th scale Nismo 350Z because it was the same colour as my car, ....definitely a better match than the Lambo though.
  12. ^^ Last picture does sort of look like something our dog left on the lawn this morning. Bet it tastes better than it look's though.
  13. Another vote for EBC pad's if your looking for a good "cheapish" set of pads.
  14. Does sound like the clutch is going if the revs are building up but the speed isn't matching. My advice would be to PM some of the traders on here to see what sort of deals they have on clutches at the moment for best prices.
  15. Oh well. Some people are like that. Still hopefully this site & it's members helped him to realize not to put cheap non-super unleaded fuel in at least. Also if he fitted a Milltek & kept up the with the service history that doesn't sound like a bad owner.
  16. Yes Scott_f91 my LED number plate bulbs basically look identical to yours in the picture. Very pleased and it's such an easy thing to do that I can't believe more people don't do it.
  17. Found it for you Arran if your interested; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22312-how-to-clear-out-uk-oem-fog-light/
  18. ^^ Very nice and look's great in your engine bay. More importantly though, ....what's it sound like?
  19. Lol. Sorry must have missed that. Couldn't believe the difference a tripod made to my photography when I first got one. I'm still using 35mm film with my SLR so I don't have the advantage that digital photography affords people nowadays whereby they can check there photo's just after they've taken them. I literally point & shoot and just hope the end photo come's out good after it's developed. Can be a bit hit & miss at times.
  20. I thought that was done on purpose as I think it adds something to the picture. You forgot to mention a tripod Neilp (although I'm assuming you used one?! or was it just the battery grip?) ~ a tripod really helps with getting good pictures and a remote is a really good shout.
