  1. Seen a Zed on here where someone had done the roof with a carbon fibre wrap. Looked pretty good actually.
  2. You need to try it on a wood floor. I was doing doughnuts with my R/c 350.
  3. You might need to save more than you think, ...I started looking at spacers and ended up getting new alloys from Mitz at the Cougar Store instead. Best decision I made.
  4. Lot's of the traders on here do them. Cougar Store, Tarmac Sportz etc.Check out the Trader section for the best deals. Here's a link to Cougar Stores site just for example; http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_18&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee
  5. Nope because they fix to your original studs and then have their own studs for your wheels to attach to. Like below; Edit: as Jimbo said. The good ones do anyway.
  6. ^^ Two cakes!! It really is your Birthday.
  7. What Zoo was it btw? Chester Zoo, just 12 miles away from where I live and considered to be one of the best 15 Zoo's in the world. Pete Sounds good. Not a big fan of Zoos but if they're well run & the animals well cared for then that's the main thing. Loved Longleat when I went there ~ was great seeing some of those more exotic animals up close & personal in the UK. Were you one of the attractions? Free accommodation, regular meals.... Just lol, lol, lol, ...
  8. Welcome aboard Hofner. Love the avatar btw.
  9. Don't think it's one of them Pete as in the reflection the rear quarter arch looks too curved. Could be wrong though as I was with my MG A guess.
  10. Sounds great Pete. Better than my day at work I'd bet. What Zoo was it btw?
  11. Thanks. I did a lot of research on this topic (it seems it's quite divisive!) and came to the same conclusion - wire brush on hubs / alloys plus copper grease but NOT on the nuts / bolts. Spot on.
  12. ^^ Not bad at all. Personally I don't like the roadsters and prefer the coupe's but still great cars with a stonking engine.
  13. The manifolds will be a pig to fit and pretty expensive to get fitted if you're paying someone else to do it but it will be so much cooler if you can get them on.
  14. Pretty cool both especially chubbsters. I got an R/c 350Z for Christmas from my Mrs. Bit of fun really but now wondering which is quicker! We need to race them.
  15. What about this style grundy?. Bit more luxurious. From an Aston.
  16. There are some members with custom systems yes and even one or two that have retro fitted GTR exhaust systems. Personally I'd prefer to get an off the shelf system where the manufacturer has actually spent the time researching & developing the exhaust for the car. If you just want it to sound nice & look pretty though by all means get a custom system but I wouldn't imagine them to be as good for developing power increases although it will be a bit better over standard still I'd have thought.
  17. ....or a stubby aerial. Surprised you missed that Will. Hmm, I thought Will and myself get on okay.. do you reckon that will still be the case if I tell him I have the regular aerial and quite like it... ? Sshhh. He'll hear you.
  18. Cheers. Not an MG. Bit more prestige, this one Bugger. Thought I was spot on with that. Hhhm, Austin Healey 100 but then that has chrome strips on the wings if I recall and not really prestigious. Could it be an Aston Martin DB1? although I'm pretty sure that's far too rare to be just sitting there. More likely in a museum. Any clues Lacky ~ year maybe?
  19. ^^ Got to wonder what bird did that sh*t?!. Must have been a Mute Swan or something.
