i also had the p0300 but that has disappeared, will check the filter later tonight, light has gone off on its own now, could the problem have cleared?

right had the engine managment light professionally diagnosed today and it brang up the code P0011- intake valve timing control. the car runs fine no loss of power, but doesnt idle perfect, sounds a little poorly. Car had an oil change 2 days before i bought the car and i heard poor oil could cause this? is this true? light wasnt on and idle was fine before the change. what else could it be? starting to worry me a bit. thanks.

you can see a copy of my insurance if you're really that uncertain, nothing dodgy about it at all, always been by the book, 3 1/2 years accident free on a multicar scheme..

I think the conclusion from this thread from my point of view is as follows.. The 350z is by no means the worlds best car, or fastest, something i knew from day one, but it certainly isnt the worst or the slowest. Their are things i love about my 350 and things i would change, but then that would apply to nearly any car that i own. Its all down to personal experiences and taste, i for one enjoy owning my car and anyone who says they're crap need to have an extremey good reason to say so, either way their will be people who love and hate, but who really cares when its you behind the wheel not them..

i had a little race with an astra vxr the other day, he managed to keep up well, was fairly closr tbh, so the zed will be quicker than your corsa, but feel different in the way it delivers the power by the way! good luck with your seach.

Yes and No for me, always loved it but there has always been a car i loved more, an R35 GTR, the zed wont be going anywhere until i can afford an R35 though...
