  1. Aww you beat me to it! Car looks really great
  2. Hi We visit Thailand at least twice a year and the biggest cause for concern is tourists forgetting their common sense when they leave their home country. If they go out and get hammered and take drugs then there's a much greater chance of them having problems. It's a very religious/spiritual country and being respectful goes a long way. Don't do anything illegal, be polite and always smile, don't get drunk and act like an arse, don't loose your cool with a Thai. Follow these rules and they'll have the best time! Although it's a shame they're only seeing the 2 largest tourist areas in the country. As for cash, debit cards can become costly so check out fees etc from the issuing bank. The Thai ATMs charge a £3-5 fee for every withdrawal, we always take cash, which we keep in the safe, and exchange as we go, and have debit and credit cards as back up.
  3. Looking really good Stu_2424 Cheers tatooandy67
  4. Me too, as I think it looks pretty good
  5. Thank you I used a satin black rustoleum that I had lying about, not sure if it'll stand up to the heat yet, but I can always redo it if need be!
  6. So the paint on my roof is in pretty bad shape with lots of scratches, blemishes and lacquer peeling. I decided wrapping it would be the way to go. Wrapped it yesterday after claying the roof to get it a smooth as possible but the paint/surface is in such poor shape the wrap looked $@?! showing all the imperfections, so off it came . I'll be taking her to my painter friend and getting it done properly!! In order to have something to show for this weekend I painted the plenum and finished off the engine bay tidy up
  7. I have to say (and voted accordingly) that it looks great as it is!! One of the best out there imo

  11. Hi All I did was have my new plates ready and as soon as the paperwork came through I informed my insurance company and put the new plates on. If you're worried about the crossover timescale then you could always keep the new plates in the car with you just in case, although I don't think this is needed. As far as I'm aware the old plates are perfectly legal until you receive the new issued tax disc, mot certificate and V5.
