  1. I believe if you have the standard and move I a 2010 connect premium then you also need to change the ECU and maybe other components. Someone tried and left it at that once they found it out. Better off going after market as mentioned.
  2. I don't like you Report back with the noise
  3. Shame I only just see this Would have been worth a go!

    P3 service costs

That's a good price to include coolant as well. I have a dealer at £400 but not a specialist in Z's and I booked an MOT with them through an automated system which isn't actually a valid day or time and they just shrugged their shoulders at me when I arrived - so not great customer service.

    P3 service costs

Just a standard P3 for me at this stage. I just can't see why it is so much money when the items are totaling £110 for Nissan parts and then £300 labour at least for dealers. Just got off the phone with a HPC and they have no knowledge Of the schedule or what's included and expect to pay this money.

    P3 service costs

As far as i can see the P3 service kit is £120 covering Engine oil, new oil filter, sump plug, new air filters and brake fluid. Whats else should be there? Not included Sly in the above.. Ah good, i see you had chosen him last week which made get in contact. For me it really looks to Kaizer motors as you get a specialist and at a much lower cost of inexperianced juniors. Worst place for me so far is one that people stand by (may just be who was on the phone) and they had no knowledge of Z's but i won't name them on here as thats unfair. Depends on how extensive you want the service to be. For me I ordered last week - Engine Oil, Oil Filter, GB oil Molyslip - GB Diff Fluid Clutch Fluid Plugs Coolant Drop Clark/Zmanalex a PM for more Servicing item Info. yes i see now you have alot here - Diff oil, plugs and coolant add a hell alot for parts alone around £400 in total for yours.

  10. Hi Chaps, P3 now due with 30,000 miles and quotations are fluctuatiing like made (in the south east in Essex boardering Kent and London). Basically a P3 consists of Engine oil change, new oil filter, new air filters, a brake fluid change and an inspection. I have haggled and nearly fallen off my seat with prices from £400 - £650. Tried Nissan Main dealers, Nissan HPC's and indepenedants. Is this the cost of this service or am i getting mad quotes? Should a P3 also have gear box and diff. oil replaced? Also what would people want to see if buying a car main delaer service history or independent (this may be specialist but only if they know of them when buying)?
  11. Also if you have runflats and get a puncture you won't know about it, continue driving with building heat from the additional friction causing it to explode. You have to check them regularly to ensure thy haven't one down. Also as stated earlier the alloys don't have the additional lip and more prone to deflating...
  12. Please PM me when the 370z springs come available as I may not see this
  13. Yes GT editions were not available on 2010 but I wouldn't go as far as being being dishonest for making it look like one. Unless they are attempting to sell as a GT edition. Also seen dealers listing GT editions which are GT's and hopefully as they are not clued up. Take me for example, I have a 2010 and wheels just refurbed to the GT edition colour, I will perhaps get the stripes as I like the look but wouldn't sell my as a GT edition and I would list them as extras or mods when selling.
  14. I have a 370z and a rear spoiler (duck tail type - not too heavy), have you got springs that could do the job? Assuming removing the weight from the tailgate would also help. Thanks
  15. It's a TopSpeed Pro 1 axle back, I would have pictures up if it stopped raining! I think it's great, sounds like an Invidia for less than half the price and easy to fit. Noise is perfect, not too loud but you can here it as you should and downshifts growl Will put a thread up once I get some old pics or it stops raining to get new ones.
  16. Great car I get the seat belt holder sweeping at times try to sit still when it starts Need some silicon spray as advised - thanks!
  17. Thanks chaps - the choice for me as it just finishes the profile perfectly Both wrapped gloss black and looked mean as from the front and finishes the back. It just looked unfinished at the back. Unfortunately I removed them the other week as they started lifting and didn't want the car looking tatty. Keeping an eye for somewhere to do it locally again and well!
  18. Okay so it's been a while but finally it has been fitted. To start with Carbon Signal has great customer service and quite literally there are over 50 emails, all of which were answered same day. Delivery took a total of 3 days and very we'll packed. The spoiler it's self is well made and a perfect fit. The paint quality is 100%. However the colour match is never going to be perfect without the car and was a risk, but no complaints on US forums so I went for it. Unfortunately it wasn't as close as I would have like but Carbon Signal resolved this and left themselves out of pocket. I couldn't of asked any more if them and thy are a top quality firm, of which I would happily do business with again. I fitted using 3m automotive tape so I had the chance to remove without damage. Once fitted it is never going to be moving and now I can't see it being removed without so much strength that the spoiler will break but at least it's on there and won't be seeing it shattered behind me or hitting someone. So here it is -
  19. Had the same on my Type R and one of the best improvements and couldn't beat it unless a BBK was an option. Believe Goodridge are the 370z lines if choice as their connection is less prone to leaks unlike other brands. Sorry I can't remember the difference between them exactly
  20. Thanks for looking! Looks like I will just take it in ans see. Thanks for the time though
  21. TDI sure is there, just around the corner from IKEA. Been there several times and very happy wih the chaps there. I took it to Nissan for servicing while under warranty and also checking warranty issues. May think about an Indy stated above from now on though for servicing.
  22. Romford Nissan told me that the 370Z only came in a auto box. These are my choice (if Glyn Hopkin) but after a few issues that they can't answer and now seeing this - they obviously don't know the 370's as they should. May be looking elsewhere now
  23. That would be really handy so I can check myself, pretty sure from part numbers that mine is the wrong but would save me driving it and getting to work. Thanks!
  24. Hi Suits, No my chassis isn't in the range but as far as I can tell the part number is the one affected. I have it going in to be checked and if it is Nissan will have decide in what they give as the recall doesn't cover my chassis number. Going in early January so we will see. Keeping an eye on my new battery and found what was draining it so hopefully though this one isn't correct everything is running as it should be.
