  1. I already have the 350Z but it needs a new clutch!

    MG ZS 180

This is the car I still have until I sell her and for which the 350Z is the replacement. Rather fortunate that I still have her since I need a new clutch on The 350Z! I have done the following - Rover 45 headlights as these have clear indicators as opposed to standard amber. Janspeed X Power back box. Janspeed decat. The alloys are the Mk 2 version. Citroen screen mist washers. Sheddist kit for clutch hydraulics. Body coloured engine and fuse covers. Piper X induction kit.
  3. I am already planning on claiming back for 36000 miles of verifiable mileage in my MG that I have done in six years of owning her... í ½í¸˜
  4. I only glimpsed it near the offices opposite Southampton Central train station. I apologise if you are a Blade or Gunmetal and take offence at my in accuracy 😊
  5. OMG the car has now done 35k and is 9 years old! 😜
  6. Out of the two I chose green but think that body colour would work better with the purple wheels.
  7. I've been quoted £600 - £700 in general and that's just the clutch and fitting. Obviously expect to add the cost of the flywheel if you do that too. However there is one place that has quoted £449.99 for clutch and fitting. I would love to buy an uprated clutch and flywheel and get them fitted but I haven't got the time or funding to go that route at present.
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-Bose-double-din-head-unit-6-CD-cassette-/181138928675?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D7636729875222925530%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D181138928675%26 This came with my Z but I don't need it so I have listed it on eBay.
  9. At 7.40am today travelling into Southampton on Millbrook Road West. I couldn't see the driver as I was about ten cars behind.
  10. I thoroughly enjoyed that car even though she was getting on in years. Unfortunately due to family demands I no longer had enough time to tinker with her.
  11. I have no mods on mine but just got a multi car quote for the 350, MG ZS and Jeep Grand Cherokee all for well under £800
  12. I felt pretty good after completing it but that may have been down to the enclosed space and the adhesive What isn't so apparent is the twin strand black electrical wire I fitted round the edge of the red vinyl on the door cards.
  13. The previous link was to a 300ZX forum but this site said it wasn't allowed!
  14. I'll try another way...
  15. Not a very big photograph but these are the rear lights http://www.300zx.co....09&type=profile And the wheels which I have just found again, they are Devil H147
  16. A list of most things done to her... 17. Just thought I would share a few of my previous ownership and two year period of Zeditis... She was a 1990 UK Twin Turbo which I owned about 9 years ago. This was the in car PC Blitz boost controller - sad but I loved this! I painstakingly stripped and recovered the fabric interior - it was only red vinyl but I was very pleased with my work. Carbon fibre slam panel and stainless boost pipes and water pipes. Painted engine cover and fan shroud although that wasn't finished. I thought I had more photographs but they could be anywhere now, may search former forum and see what is left there...
  18. I understand it is automatic adjustment too which means there is no room for human adjustment?
  19. Another question - is the clutch hydraulic or cable?
  20. Not something I am prepared to try then, will have to find trusted garage near to home...
  21. Now wondering if the clutch is going as it over revs when accelerating, worse in higher gears... Is this a job that an amateur could succeed at replacing with the car jacked up on axle stands? I don't have either the Nissan Service manual or the Haynes manual at present so don't know exactly what it entails on this beast.
  22. We're did you get it done for that money? I'm being quoted over £600 at the moment...
