Slashing prices on new models like this is good for the people in a position to buy brand new but stereotypical of the lack of respect manufacturers / retailers have for the consumer. This will have a knock on effect to existing owners and it will slash the second hand market values just as much.
This price is much closer to the mark of what this type of car should be available for.
Roughly on costs then you would need to get 10k out of 453 / VUS tyres and 14k out of MPSS (mileage figures are only for ease of comparison and are just made up to show the percentage) to return same cost per mile. I'm not convinced you will get that 40% extra life from the MPSS to make them worth it in that sense...
Well on reading the reviews I may be trying the Vredestein's. I currently have the MPSS and have no issues with them at all but with the price difference again I'm back to the VUS
At the end of the day Amber means stop at that point in the sequence, forward it to the police. If more people thought about their driving then I reckon our roads would be a better place to drive on.
I suppose if you find one that has had an engine rebuild recently but then as already said, the mpg is appalling for what is effectively a 1.3 engine and then you will probably spend as much on oil.
Evoque, i do like them although I think the Evoque is nothing more than something that should have been badged a Freelander Sport. However badging it Range Rover allows them to add several thousands to the price.
I enjoy Top Gear but there are so annoying / boring sections like the star in a reasonably priced car and sometimes there are parts that are too rehearsed and contrived as there is no way they jut happened like the way they depict it.
Perhaps the str should be replaced with an audience member or a competition winner...
