  1. Right seen your video and I'm sold - I have bought some! Love them. My car is the same age and looking at the bolts they look like they are gonna need replacing too even if I pb blast them. So thought I'd get some new bolts ahead of fitting them - any advice on what sort of bolts I need and where to buy? Thx!!!
  2. Raspy, obnoxious and a nuisance to pedestrians/cyclists . . . Sign me up, I love it🚗💨
  3. I had the same dilemma with my old car - by the time you buy all the kit you need it might not be that much cheaper! I went on a course through detailing world forum which gave me the confidence to use different rotary machines and polishes and be taught what to use when etc. However it is a long long process to do a whole car... Sometimes I wish I had paid someone! One word of advice I would suggest though is get decent machine and defo get a paint gauge. Hope that helps!
  4. Living in Nottingham I saw a car I liked and I called and asked junction 17 for a part ex price - she never came back to me! Heard poor things about them since Sorry to hear about your wasted journey
  5. Well made it back safe and sound caper ran like dream - averaged 30.2 mpg according to the dash - which was just less than a tank and a half. Anyway pics
  6. Easy the loudest one I can afford! :-) Still thinking Ark Grip tho I think I prefer the 350z mirrors too
  7. Well we made it to Scotland was an awesome drive... Used all the horses when we could! A few pics so far... Note the sign! The 350z stock sounds sooo much better than the 370z I'm buying a new exhaust on Monday! (If I have any money left after a weekend watching rugby and eating and drinking in the city!
  8. I'm interested would love to hear /see a video! Did you need/use any new gaskets on the joint?
  9. So I am due to go to Edinburgh on Friday for Weekend away with 2 other couples and watch Sco vs Eng.., originally me and my other half were each jumping in with the other two couples and we were going joining their convoy as both my friends have alpina d3 white bmws with free company fuel ... One of them is now going to have to work Friday so after a few beers on fri we have decided instead of all four of us jumping in one car we are going take my friends wife's 350z and my 370z.. (Pictured earlier in the thread) So today I've been getting her ready..... Snow foam after 20mins One coat of super resin polish - apologies all iphone pics Now it is a popular joke with my friends I am partial to Sticker or two so knowing I have been coveting some NISMO wheels, my friends kindly bought me some stickers from eBay! I am not sure they will stay on for long ... but I slipped them on for a laugh. Also fitted are the falkens I bought from Funky tyres.... Did a deal with local tyre placed where they fitted and balanced for £10 and they kept the good bridgestone. It will be the longest I have driven it can't wait.... Update .....the 'bouncing' on full lock I got from the bridgestones has gone with these new tyres - happy so far. (At least until I get my new wheels)

  14. I paid less than 15.5k for my 370 base from nissan dealer with 2 years nissan cared4 warranty with 28k miles - but looking paper work I think it may have be a repossession
  15. There is a black "box" with wires coming out nr the left hand rear light under the foam that holds the jack / wheel brace. I haven't looked worked out/ what it is yet on my car as when I look at pics on us forums it's not there... Could this be the alarm? Could water have got to it or have u disturbed a connection? I have read the connection become corroded hence on other forums and that affects the alarm...
  16. Bloody hell I don't like them that much thx !
  17. Well the golf has gone....and I have investigated the wiper issue and the amazingly the nut had come loose so it isn't broken. However as I'd bought the grommet, I decided to dewiper anyway.
