  1. Fair enough. I'm not in a rush to sell, I just don't want to put miles on it. I have updated the advert price to include my comment above (less £500 to cover a years tax). Happy to answer any questions
  2. Is this car too expensive? I've not had much interest
  3. Car is advertised on ebay for £10,995. If someone from the forum buys the car I'll knock £500 off the price to cover a years tax (so £10,495). Would be nice for this car to go to another forum member.
  4. I think your thread title is a bit muddled up but yes all HRs I've seen have a rattle at idle from the transmission.
  5. For anyone reading this ad and in case you are wondering, I do still have most of the original parts that have been upgraded, so for example if the front number plate is not to your taste, I have a brand new normal shaped plate and the OEM holder.
  6. I wanted to mount it between the grille and reflector as well, but the plate is too big and the curve of the bumper made it impossible. A bracket would be the best option. We did a similar mod to my mates old RX8. Two L brackets from B&Q (£5) and 10 minutes work was all it needed and it was completely reversible (no holes drilled, used existing screws from the splitter).
  7. Two bits of double sided tape along the the two grille fins. Thought it might fall off but it's stayed on for over 2k miles! The tape I use is really good: http://www.halfords....tegoryId_255230 This is the plate I have: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SQUARE-FRONT-WHITE-NUMBER-PLATE-11-X-8-100-road-legal-Buy-it-Now-8-99-Each-/131195721141?
  8. This is mine, fully UK legal:
  9. Lol, that was probably mine but it wasn't me driving...went in for service and MOT at TGM today!
  10. Thanks for the nice comments but you're making me sad! Car sailed through its MOT today and also had a P2 service. First post updated to reflect.
  11. Sadly it's time to sell my car. I sourced a very well looked after car and travelled over 300 miles for this one. I've serviced it with no consideration for cost. Full details below, but if you have any questions, please ask. PM me for email or phone number or contact me through the forum. 15. So if you have seen some of the other threads, you should know: Generally MPSS are highly regarded There are other good tyres out there that don't cost as much Not everyone agrees with point 2 Not everyone agrees with the people from point 3 I've got FK453's do NOT buy them if you already think road noise is an issue. But - The Zed has a noisy cabin anyway, I'm not sure how much difference tyres will actually make. Other zeds that I have been in had 18" wheels but I didn't think they were much better for road noise...
  16. I don't know about Ricey but a professional will charge anything from £200 to £1500+ for a detail (depending on what you want and where you go). I'd say a fair price for a moderate correction detail (getting rid of the swirling but likely still have some light scratches left) is about £500. Money well spent imo.
  17. I hope he's remembered to pay his income tax!
  18. I've not really done any research on the 'mini' versions of phones but most of the big companies are doing them now. FWIW I used to think the 'large' screens were too big (my last phone was a Desire) but I'd not go back now.
  19. Don't destroy the illusion!! This is what he looks like!
  20. Nexus 5 = £300 no contract Samsung GS5 = £570 no contract ...
