No it has the horizontal bar in the middle of the grill which is the V1, V2 has this as well but with 2 vertical at each side.

Its the new one that surpriesed the OP, the old ones are slow and cant go around corners. Unless they are stage 2 then you would have got left for dead ( speaking sarcastically obv ) On a similar legal limit bit of fun I took a spanking in a straight line off a BMW 330d!! thing was obviously remapped as I was in third gear and he was past and went about 2 car lenghts infront and stayed there! When going 30 it will say you're going 28.893mph. A 40 profile on the rear will put the speedo out by -3.69% so not a huge amount at all. T/C will kick in a lot more. No it won't. A staggered set up means that as the fronts are narrower, they instinctively want to stay there, in the front. It's designed so that any billy can drive the car safely. Bearing in mind that if you don't have rays alloys you have a square set up anyway, I don't think it's going to affect the tcs, abs or any other safety system at all. Can't a guy exaggerate these days

I will let the tyre gurus confirm but I don't think you can run 40 profile on 18s. Well you can but you will think you are doing 30mph when your doing 40

I saw Octec has put the front number plate in the grill which looks pretty minted, not sure if I will have the black the same as his as I quite like mr&Mrs front end. The bumper is getting sprayed all orange then I will have it wrapped, so got time to think about it!

How hard was it getting your registration attached in the grill? is it screwed to something behind the bumper? cheers

Using that method I think the VXR 500 seems to be the best value for money buying new and being under 10 seconds to 100mph. You could buy a TVR's second hand but would end up with a garden ornament. Lotus exige seems to be the other best value in that list.

Yes, there is also the 2 slots next to the badge to match the bonnet which will be filled as well. It is surprisingly easy, Maybe something you can do seeing your car is off road!!!

I was very anal with it mate, made sure it was clean and dry before i started. Made sure it fitted right at the edge of the rim and if i dodnt get it perfect i would keep going.

Just a small update, someone wanted to see the bumper out the wrapping, so took it out before I put it in the van to see what it was like. Came with the mesh which I was quite impressed with! Also it was a nice day on Sunday for a change, managed to get out and do a rimjob.... terrible I know. The tape was fairly easy to apply although my first attempt wasn't great the rest were half decent.
