  1. This. Plus get yourself an updated disc unless the car your getting comes with it of course. In terms of the Bose and SatNav they operate independently, but if you change the stereo you will lose the SatNav voice. I think there's some way around that with getting another speaker fitted for the voice but you'd have to ask someone else about that one.
  2. Haha! It was immense fun - when it worked....here's couple more....
  3. Just a few here as I don't have any photos of my other cars. Missing are a Metro Gti, a Clio 172 and various non-performance based cars.
  4. Welcome to the forum. As an 07 Rev-Up owner I can give you the benefit of my experience. Mine is on over a 100k now and is as good as gold. Do they use a bit of oil? Yes - but not as much as people think. You just need to be vigilant with checking it. To put your mind at rest - I'm not topping it up every month that's for sure! Id say the only real downside to the later cars, as mentioned already, is the higher tax band which stings a bit, but you're talking a couple of extra hundred pound over a year so it's hardly a deal breaker. For me the good things like the better interior and exterior features plus a few more ponies under the bonnet outweigh any bad points.
  5. Or just go onto YouTube and type in 350z airbag light. It's the first video. I've done it a few times myself and it works just fine
  6. My 07 RevUp is just about to cross over the 100K mark and is good as gold. Flew through it's MOT without any advisories and is 100% reliable. When the time comes to sell it I really don't know what I'd replace it with (other than a 370 of course) - they really do get under your skin
  7. Awesome cheers Grundy - you've put my mind at rest a bit there!
  8. Thanks chaps I'll get the old girl booked in - hopefully it's nothing serious as she got through the MOT the other week without a hitch and I wouldn't have even noticed this if it hadn't been for that plastic shield coming loose at 70mph and making a right old racket.
  9. Just been underneath my car to repair one of the silly plastic covers which has come loose and I found this: - As you can see it's weeping from the bellow bit so can anyone identify what part it is before I give Japex a call to book my car in. Many thanks
  10. I was looking at getting one of these as well. Can you let us know how you get on with the fitting or any issues you come across as Id be interested to see how you get on - cheers.
  11. 3 a bit excessive then? He was taking his time making sure everything was spot on, and I wasn't in a rush - so I'm happy. I couldn't get it done through Autoglass as my insurer doesn't use them which I found weird - but whatever. Yes it makes a huge difference - I can't believe how pitted and marked my old screen was compared to the new one.
  12. Had this done yesterday after I'd taken a 40mm round (aka a stone) to the drivers side back on Christmas Day. I went for a replacement as opposed to a repair as the screen had other chips and marks on it so thought I'd just get the whole thing done. What a difference though - I feel like I'm seeing the world in HD now! What I didn't realise was just how much work was involved in the changeover - all the scuttle trim, wipers, door/roof trim on both sides along the car...he was there about 3 hours doing the whole thing! Interestingly enough it had developed a leak in heavy rain and upon inspection he found the original (or at least I'm presuming it was original) screen was barely attached at the top with any sealant and pretty much just lifted back with very little effort. He did a top job though and it's really freshened the car up a lot so I'm well pleased with it - and no more leaks either! £90 excess on my policy and Auto Windscreens did the job in case anyone needs similar. Just thought I'd share that with you all :-)
  13. I had my front smoothed, debadged and use a vinyl plate. It looks a million times better than having that plate holder on it. I use a standard plate size with the correct font/spacing etc The way I see it is that vinyl plates aren't legal so if I try to make it look as legal as possible Im much less likely to get grief over it. You'll need to find a friendly MOT place though - or temporarily stick your old plate back on.
  14. To cut a long story short I dropped my 6+ in the road today whilst getting back in my car after a work based errand - and drove off without it. Didn't realise until 15 minutes later when Id got back to work and did the usual checks - keys, wallet, pho...oh no. Engage level 10 panic mode. Anyway my mate called the phone and a guy the other end answers, says he's got it, gives me his address - about 4 miles away, I whizz round there and low and behold he's kept it safe and sound. I really couldn't believe it. He wouldn't even take the offer of a reward and asked me to put some in a charity box instead - which I shall most certainly be doing. An absolute gent who saved me a whole tonne of grief and expense. As the title says - faith restored!
  15. Parked up next the library, almost opposite the multi-storey car park. Had what appears to be an aftermarket rear spoiler and grey wheels - I couldn't see that clearly from where I was though.
  16. If you like loud you're going to be very happy. Take it through a town centre somewhere - it turns heads like anything. Tunnels are also fun - it sounds bonkers. I got mine from CS as well - they're good guys there.
  17. Did you go for the non-resonated (the hero choice btw...)? When I had mine fitted and took it out for a spin I remember wondering if I'd unleashed some sort of monster! They sound great - you're going to love it.
  18. OE53 plate - around 17:50ish , Junction 18/19 heading clockwise. There was a van going up in flames on the other side of the motorway as well.
  19. Any information on the model year they came off - DE/HR? Also the approximate mileage they've covered? Cheers.
  20. One at Trent Park Golf Club this morning - silver 55 plate with 'Z' badge in place of the rear Nissan one. Then another around the 2.30pm mark on London Road towards the town - grey, plate ended in FLY - got a little wave.
  21. That is awesome - I'd love to roll around in that. I saw one up in Lake District a few years back - Kendal I think? A guy up there has a load of movie cars and you can go see them - the place looked a little run down though I must say - but the cars were pretty cool.
  22. Taken it out for a drive yet? Any noticeable changes?
  23. About 15:15 today - parked one space along from my GM
  24. With regards to your clutch it sounds to me like the high biting point and juddering are being caused by a clutch nearing the end of it's life and the dual mass flywheel either gone or on it's way out. I'm no expert mind and can only give you the benefit of my experience with the car, but I had very similar symptoms until they were both changed, with the biting point now in the middle and I get no juddering at all.
