  1. One seat stripped down ready for the new alcantara covers to arrive

The large frame pictured is the clio frame removed and the small frame is what you need to make the seat whole again and ready to accept your specific base frame /rails

After a little look it seems the air bags are intact so no issus there either

  2. Next little project arrived yesterday :D

I have wanted a set of these for ages but could never realy justify nearly 3k with rails etc etc.

So when my friend with his clio rs offered me his at a price I couldn't refuse and still makes them economically viable to change the covers and buy new base and rails and everything needed to fit properly I snapped his arm off.

I think I'm going to go with black leather  and alcantara centres to go with my gt interior like the pic below

Ill document the process best I can should anyone else want to do it .

    The dog approved as well

fuel return kit allows the fuel pressure to rise in relation to boost pressure, So keeping the differential fuel pressure correct so the injector spray pattern is consistent

    A non return fuel system when used on a FI car the differential fuel pressure drops as the boost rises , the injector spray will start to become in-consistent which can cause issues;

Reason for return-less system is cheaper not as man parts and  doesn't heat the fuel as nothing is returned.

If your going FI a fuel return system is the way to go , people say you don't need it but it is a better way to go in our opinon

Even on the 370z with ecutek

Because you mentioned taking mine off

  4. Tuner kit usually means its not plug and play ie you need to get a custom tune etc

The frs is maintain stable fuel pressure in relation to boost if your not shooting for big boost and have an upgraded pump and good injectors then you can get away with not using the frs ....but its belt and braces

On the 370 they can play with injector duty now against boost so its not such a big deal I dont know if thats possible on the 350 with uprev

Around 2-3 years now into biohacking. Intermittent fasting every day with one meal a day, so 23-24 hrs between meals, daily sauna, exercise, cold showers, a huge list of supplements and vitamins that I keep refining as I study and research into it, daily meditation and generally on a keto diet. Doing a prolonged fasting at least once a month, 5 days water and coffee only. Doing one as we speak, 2nd day into it.

I knew I had seen you somewhere before

    Was it universal soldier

Easy access to E85 will be why. Over here you'd either need to run race fuel or methanol injection to hit the same power without detonation blowing it.

... or lower compression via forged pistons of course. Limit after that would likely be around 700whp on 97-99RON fuel from what I've seen.

Yeah thats the plan if I build a engine

Its not that I'm necessarily chasing the numbers because I'm not

But it would be nice while running FI that the engine had been built to take it

can the engine safely handle anything over 500bhp stock?

Thats my concern on chasing more than that.

The problem is people see usa numbers and feel robbed in the UK

I am  starting to look for a spare engine to forge over time before I push for more than my 485

Its one thing making those numbers on the dyno

And another having a reliable set up you can drive hard and feel confident its not going to let go six months later

    Hello

A bit of advice needed please

I am running the GTM 1.5 supercharger set up.  With a smaller pulley the last dyno was 491bhp. My question is what options do I have for more power? I don't really want to go down the TT route due to the expense. I was thinking a larger supercharger.  Due to the current set up would it be a case of installing a larger supercharger capable of creating more boost? Or will I need to start from scratch with a new set up?

You can probably pick up a bit more boost from filter/pulley set ups

Theres a new kit coming soon that will make 17/18 psi out the box no upgrades needed

Details will come once others have hit the market tho

Jezz tunes yours doesn't he ?

    He'll have some ideas

Out of interest what are you trying to hit 490 is a pretty  quick car on uk roads

  9. I disagree ive seen a couple around the 16/17k Mark granted they are not gt prices but they have halved in value

The mk2 is not common in the grand scheme of cars in general but a fair bit more so than the mk1

Out of 58 370zs on the trader at the moment 17 of them.are mk2 nismo

there's a lot in the midlands

a Nismo will hold value better over time and if you have the money you are probably better off getting one

The mk1 has come down a fair bit now and there's loads more mk2 about so I hope you're right but not so sure

  11. I'd imagine for the cost to change you could make yours quite individual to you or even have something different alongside the zed

Like the others have said logic doesn't come into it if you have the cash and realy want one and plan to keep it especially then go for it

I've thought of having one to put my bits on and keep but I've done so much to mine theres no point

cheers pal, got to keep busy somehow during these strange times

I feel like i should have a disclaimer at the start of this thread... rather than the intended 70% 30% track this car is more like 35% road 15% track 50% axle stands haha. Car has been up on stands since the start of November with me slowly sorting stuff out for spring time so I've not driven it yet. I have sat in it and rowed through the gears and it feels really good. Still waiting on the arrival of the gearbox mount to complete it.

Also I've booked 3 trackdays for this year already (booked before we got locked down again). Donnington Park in March, Anglesey in June and Cadwell Park in July if anyone else wants to book on and get involved. Need to get a couple of days at Oulton Park booked for this years as well as that is home territory for me (I'm fortunate enough to only live 20 mins away).

    Ha ha good one

Whats your Donnington date im only 30 mins from donny
