Always a pleasure.............and once again we've provided top quality photos of the job to assist the forum!!
Seriously though really nice mods done together, tightens up the shift loads and there are no negatives at all
Parts installed

and (we installed the harder of the spring options)

Can always count on me for half the info😂

Another nice little mod added and a couple of maintenance bits courtesy of Mr butcher
So feeling 2nd to 3rd being a little bit awkward now and then @350Butcher suggested I try these
https://us.gktech.com/z33-350z-z34-370z-solid-transmission-tripod-mounts-set-of-4
so he very kindly fitted them for me at the weekend along with the stiffer shift springs these guys do
the result is a much sharper and more positive shift! a real nice little mod
We also replaced the radio control panel as my volume had packed up.
and swapped out the AC module as my AC has stopped working so thought it could be that.
unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the problem so the AC fix needs further investigation.
the clutch on the compressor isn't engaging but can only find a fuse and no relay for it.
Next thing will be to check the power or lack of possibly to the AC compressor
to be continued

I didn't know if a slim spacer was needed between the bells and hub to centre the discs in the caliper. As you say custom made bells for the car would negate any messing around, very nice work and direct fit.
Would these clear 18's would you imagine?
Aghhh gotcha
No no spacers or any thing needed mate
These calipers will fit under a 18 wheels yes
As it's the Motorsport caliper it's very slim and not bulky at all for a caliper so big if that makes sense

Yeah pal, keeping well this end. Did you have to shim the bells in the end or are they direct into the hubs?
How do you mean mate
No shims had the bells made specifically for the car

Those look dreamy matey, why have Chinese when you can have British 💪
Martin aka The Z guru strikes again. Also your Akebono brakes are a good upgrade for the 350z owners.
Cheers Dave
Yeah I'm well happy with them
Unsure on if to keep my akebono calipers incase I ever sell up
But if someone wants them I suppose they can go
Hope you're well buddy

All fitted up big thanks to @350Butcher for his expertise once again
He got to test them out first ofcourse.
We weighed pads calipers and discs to find just shy of 6kg weight saving per side over stock set up .
and with the anti rattle springs fitted along with pad retention clips they have perfect road manners for a Motorsport set up
With the added stopping power and ability to perform over and over without getting to hot I'd say that's a win win situation of anyone fancys a set let me know I'm going to put a few kits together.
😁

Looks fantastic kev
I saw a nice pillar pod from a company called Ortiz custom's for the right price if anyone's looking
The guys also happy to help with the shipping and duty side

I have kinetix on mine I've put 30k miles on them no issues
However will be swapping out to spl at some point.
Spl isn't the best if you drive your car in all weather as they are all bearings without and protection from road grime
But they are undoubtedly the best in terms of quality

I'll send you some pictures when I get the car out

I put a set of uniform holes in the bit that folds back under the number plate you can't even see them unless you get down on the floor and it let's loads more air in.
I did this to allow air in to the top of the rad as my fmic blocks the lower half

I would be interested to know more about this
Once they are on and working I'll let everyone know what it's cost
Got a little wait for brackets and bells now

It's been a while but I've got a new mod ☺️
I did a track day a few months ago and the stock brakes although ok didn't really allow me to keep lapping so I've gone for a mega upgrade and one which I may make available to anyone else interested.
It consists of the ap 5000r 6 pot caliper brackets and bells to suit either 350 or 370 and a set of used btcc j hook discs and pads all for less than a set of Chinese brakes .
If anyone I'd interested keep following and I'll have more fitted pictures soon and prices tbc but for now here's a little sneak peak

Yeah I just about get away with it at the minute but any lower and I think I'd run into issues.
Custom will definitely be on the table if I do have to change. I also really like the HKS Hi-power system - no that many people seem to run them in the UK that I've seen though
If you do go custom have a chat with Craig his welding is spot on
-
Yeah lows are an issue and I'm really not much lower than stock on the kw .
with a few bags and a passenger in Scotland I was kissing the floor a fair bit with the extra silencers I had put in to my invidia near the w brace
When I build a motor I'm going to get criag at Dynotourqe to build me a nice custom system

I hope so too, sounds like a young chap like myself so hope the car treats him as it has done me!
Doubt I'll ever have a car that looks as good as this... Probably regret it at some point when I see another on the roads
That's true
What's next
Take 2 let's try again :)

Couple of updates
Attacking the gallery gaskets this weekend with @350Butcher
I've been monitoring oil pressure which has been fine but decided to dive in and get them done for peace of mind as we're going back to the Dyno at Litchfield 😁 the supercharger has left for vortech today to have the si impeller installed which should net a little more boost without actually spinning the charger faster.
While we're at the this point I'll be doing plugs coolant oil service etc etc to make sure it's a good as it can be before I get the map tweaked to suit the impeller
Also on the list are the vibratecnics engine mounts
The gearbox has been spot on so looking forward to getting those on
I will take lots of pictures for you if anyone is interested
