  1. Very easy. Just held on by plastic pop rivets as far as I remember. Nice, and double bonus, these have to come out for the new bonnet struts anyway
  2. Also, how easy is it to remove the plastic base below the Battery/Brake Fluid lids go? The one with the rubber seal along it.
  3. Another little preview... Trying to get as many snaps to help anyone out considering spraying, to see the different layers etc. I'm just hoping by tomorrow, my different colour idea works
  4. It's only been up for sale for 3 days, give it a little time, you'll find the right buyer.
  5. Don't worry, I've got some stuff to match, along with a surprise
  6. Remember that meet with BillyZed at Whitley? Thats my junction
  7. Aye, I'll be heading down. Just need to see if my DC5 friend is still coming. Where do you want to meet?
  8. I've just sanded down as if it was a flat surface, so nah, I've not gone into the dimples. It's seemed to have come out fine However when I come to do the door handles, I'll be trying to sand as much as possible, as they will always be on show, as this is just for when ever I pop the bonnet etc.
  9. Very Nice Zeus! least you have a spare set!!! :surrender: Sprayed my Battery and Brake Fluid lid. Next inline is the Engine cover and Door handles!
  10. And I'm 99% sure he is correct. Gratz bud. Enjoy!!!!!

  12. Just a bit of advice to help with the sale, update your OP with all this extra info - Coily's etc as that's the main post potential buyers will read, and may not read your other posts.
  13. Soory about that, not sure what happened. I have updated the first post on page one. 11 Pages later
  14. Mij Performance Custom Exhaust With Decats - Birmingham This is the sound with de-cats. No drone what so ever it's perfect for what I wanted. It's the back box that does all the silencing. Takeda intake - About £200 from Tarmac
  15. Cheers for the advise guys, just wanted to check what to do next ^^ 1st Coat. Will be doing more throughout the night as it drys. You will see Ian
  16. Primer is a beautiful colour Will do bud. Warming up to that 1st with practicing on these Question to all you sprayers, I know it goes Sand - Primer - Sand - Primer Etc. What about the paint layer? I've done a coat. Now do I sand and do another coat? or just keep going over with coats?
  17. Clever man, however, I got carried away and decided on some other parts to spray too... The garage is humming off it right now
  18. The winner will get.....the self satisfaction of getting it right
  19. +2 on Shell V Power. I tend to avoid Supermarket Fuel. Used Tesco Fuel in my golf previously and for me it felt like it drank it twice as quick as other fuels.
  20. Adam I have just bought my zed from pics and talking to the guy only, had to send a £500 deposit to hold it , was a 3 hour train journey to get it and a 3 hour drive back but was deffinately worth it .you tend to get a feel if buying the car is right by talking to the buyer in detail and plenty of pics. My advice would be to book a one way train down and go as if you where deffinately buying the car to bring it away, if the car is not as described or your not happy it's the cost of the train back, but I would be confident that the car is spot on and well worth the journey! Get a return, it's only an extra £1 I'd travel anywhere to get the right car. Went with a friend and traveled from portsmouth to wigan to get her DC5. I'd happily drive to Scotland to get the perfect car. Downside = You don't know what the actual version is compared to images/comments etc. Plus Side = The awesome journey home in your new car. GLWTS
