  6. Damn it, was hoping I'd of ran of likes to not like your post
  7. Right, so I have found the food that I have longed to live for.... (You may need to expand at the end of the image for more images.) Can someone tell me what I need for this I know it's custom, and I could get most of it right, but what would they use for that sauce? Need an Idea of measurements so I can make this
  8. Mind me asking what the issue was the other way? Mine was really really stiff when closing for the 1st time, as in i thought I was blocking the bonnet some how, but after some force, it worked fine.
  9. Oh yeah I remember, with the S2000 I hate the sound of the Boxter, sounds horrible.
  10. Loving the Bonnet! I suppose this could be considered a mod...

  13. There is some metal plates that go on underneath the boot for extra support with the tension We could only fit 2/3 do to the second layer. The wing almost finished, just pulling it down into it's final position Then came to adjusting the height of the Wing and Working out which way the end plates should face Important test... And then some Day light shots... Again a MASSIVE thank you to the Zed Shed, you were all so helpful and did a fantastic job!!!! As for the wing, it's not to everyone's taste, and that's the point, as everyone says each to there own, and I love it The car does need an aggressive look to pull it off, and that will be the route I'll be going down. Most people would of got the Wing last, but I thought I'd be different. Next Mod will include Wheels Thanks for reading! *Edit - Posted more pictures than I'm allowed *
  14. So, time for a big update, going to be a busy couple of weeks. Front Splitter has been sprayed Gloss Black thanks to a local body work garage. Big Gay Wing Arrived and Fitted Full oil change inc Gear/Diff Plen Spacer Fitted Can't thank the Zed shed enough for the work they put into all this, legends! So first up - Front Splitter - Very happy with the finish, The body shop have quoted to spray my front end (Bonnet, Wings, Bumper) for £400 and they will fill in the holes on the splitter and glue it on. So thanks to Matt (Aliveboy/Deadman) I've now ended up with stickers on my car... Next up the BGW Arrives.... Then I arrived at the Zed Shed for my Service, Plen Fitting and to Add the BGW. Thanks for the Haribo! Car going up on Axel stands to do the oil change. Plenum off, turns out didn't need spark plugs changed, so that saved some time. New Spacer added, thanks to Wasso Then for the Finally - This was a pain in the arse (For Bob and Chris ) So we did a test of putting it together to see how it would sit on the car... We managed to line it up perfectly by matching the rear window, at a close inspection the rear ends of the windows are flowing down along the legs. They then added the sticky pads under the mounts to stop the scratching, and then drilled 3 holes through the mounts and through the boot... Then came the next issue, it's not just a flat back under the boot, there is a second layer of metal, so this meant, the bolts the wing supplied were to short. The Zed shed had a couple kicking around, but in the end I think we mainly used my old plenum spacer bolts. Getting the legs into the stand required A LOT of force - You will need to get it in half way, and then put the screws in to then pull it down.
  15. I'll attach it with Velcro for that day.
  16. The more names, the cheaper we get them
  17. Yeah will do, we'll go for a drink. - Plen, no noticeable difference. But remap booked for next week Love it - It's my conversation starter! Only just sprayed the handles And nah I haven't thought about that yet, Ordering Wheels next week to try and draw some attention away Seriously? Wheels too?! 21. Day Light Pictures - Okay, so last night, it wasn't a 5 minute Job It isn't just a case of - Place Wing on top of boot, Drill Holes - Job done....I'll go into more depth on my build thread later. As for the wiper blade, I'm not fussed with it on, and also Chris and Bob did all the work, think the wiper was the least of the worries last night There was a full service and Plen Spacer fitted last night, Started at 5:30ish - Finished at 10. As for the OEM lip, undecided at the moment. Either way the wing is in the only place it can go, It doesn't look terrible with the lip on, but with the boot design underneath, it may make the wing look too far forward with it off, will wait for someone else to fit and remove and see how it is.
