  1. Great work, I know I'm a noob but so far there's loads of great effort on here from all quarters on a huge variety of deals and offers and trading. It's like my dream of a People's Socialist Repbulic is coming true, from now on I plan to run all my major life decisions past the community!
  2. I don't know what it's called but I like this blue. I may even wrap her in this when the paint is fixed up.
  3. WAP, that's so retro-chic! I remember my first WAP phone it was the one from the Matrix with a green screen, well cutting edge (in 2001). Took about 20 minutes to check one football score. You thinking about upgrading to 2G soon?
  4. Pop a jacket potato in the foil before attaching to battery. That's your lunch sorted.
  5. Check out Redline Styling in the traders section, Steve has got some in and he's sold me a few bits, good service and price.
  6. Ohhhh, very nice car, great shots too. Mine's GM too and I picked up the full range of cleaning goodies last week, but not had a chance to use them yet with the weather and also it seemed pointless before getting some chips and dings sorted this week. Seeing what a good job you've done tells me I need to get out and make it happen! Nice job.
  7. Looking forward to it. Nothing like getting your fingers into a waxy box.
  8. e-liquid is what Ebeneezer Goode had for blood. One for the oldies there.
  9. Does this now give you carte blanche to start pedalling the hard stuff? They'll not be round again, probably. This time next year you could have a lambo as an everyday car!
  10. Really? I was expecting about £20, what kind of gains does a Cosworth filter bring, 1-2 hp?
  11. They're painting two panels on mine. Just gave them a bell, sorted the badge lacquer. They've also spotted a small scratch on another panel, which they will buff out, gratis. My kind of customer service.
  12. £72 for the exhaust and air filter. They don't care that the exhaust brings no performance gains. It is simply "non standard", therefore extra risky. So I guess I'm now looking at buying a performance exhaust to get my monies worth. Cheers elephant.
  13. Shoot, my zed is in the bodyshop today having the old badges off and these on. I went for the super black finish, is this one that starts to look old? Reckon they'll lacquer them for me first if I ring up and ask?
  14. The Home of Football. Love it. COYS.
  15. Another routine victory at WHL! Cracking atmosphere at the game I'd imagine.
  16. Pickup is a great shout, my step dad has one out in France cos they get tons of snow in winter and they live in a kinda out there place. Not managed to get it stuck yet, 4 adult size seats in the cab version, huge load area and proper 4x4 stuff like a locking differential. Mitsubishi L200, similar below http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201302255487983 Drinks a bit of juice and new tyres are a chunk, but I bet they are or most off readers.
  17. From my youth in the countryside and my jollies in 3rd world countries, proper 4x4s include Toyota Landcruiser, Isuzu Trooper and best of all, the short wheeled based land rover defender, might be a smidgen over your budget though. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201302235469700 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201303025579544 For a bit extra, there's this beast http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201301315135552
  18. When do I get the freshener for my aircraft? With this many engines the smell of fuel is quite strong.
  19. I have this too. Is this the right stuff? http://www.maplin.co.uk/multi-purpose-siliconegrease-29006 or this lithium based stuff http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_221665_langId_-1_categoryId_165705
  20. Nice one, it'd be good to see if you pick up any little tips alo ng the way, being that bit more used to working on her.
  21. Er, yeah, though if I remember Vegas correctly it was hot, fun and packed with trim. This is not my exact experience of life here.
  22. I live in Blackpool, there's nothing I haven't seen every single weekend.
  23. Super quick response, thank you all. The Cosworth is a stock replacement filter, did a quick look on the Larkspeed site and matched the number on the receipt to one they retail for the Zed. Is this also worth a mention on my call for the inevitable fisting by elephant? http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?a=i&p=1620002270&part=Nissan-350Z-Cosworth-Air-Filter Gutted about the filter, was going to be my first performance mod Edit: you guys really are fast, by the time I'd written that you'd flooded me with answers! Thanks again, this forum truly is the best thing that ever happened to the Internet.
