  1. Excellent news, glad they are all coming through and look ok to you all If anyone doesn't get theirs in the next few days, drop me a PM.
  2. Some beads from this morning. I realise these are neither the highest, sphericalest nor tightest, but what did impress me is that they formed on a single layer of AMMO Reflex, which I put on 10 days and 500 winter miles ago, without any QD, wax or other LSP on top.
  3. Arrived today from printers, might JUST be able to get them in today's post. Thanks everyone for supporting the club like this, it really does make a difference Thanks to all you prompt payers out there too
  4. We should form a club, I also have the whiff of pork in my nostrils
  5. WOW! There can only be handful like this still out there. GLWTS.
  6. What ilogikal1 said and I will also post something up here once all the people have seen their calendars.
  7. No, but only just. I'll put you down for one and be in touch after work today.
  8. Thanks for the prompt payments that have already rolled in.

  10. no worries, on it now mate
  11. I've not sent them yet.
  12. Last call gang, please get in touch or post up if you want to support the club Calendar. Ta.
  13. Quick announcement to let you all know that @andy james has kindly volunteered to give up his free time to help fill the huge void left by Gareth's departure - big boots to try and fill! Thanks for stepping up Andy's been around forever and already is a seasoned event organiser, so it's extremely generous of him to offer yet more of his time to the club, I'm sure you'll all appreciate how important this kind of generosity is to the place. I know I don't even need to say this but just in case - even though Andy's the new teacher, doesn't mean you lot should try and take advantage of him in class, ok????
  14. I'll be in touch about payments via PM.
  15. Prices There is a £1 increase across the board this year, one calendar is £19.95 and each additional one is a further £9.95
  16. Hmmmmm, hard for me to really say TBH, I'm relatively inexperienced and my first and only machine was the Meg's G220 which seemed ok at first (if a bit short on torque and noisy and heavy) until I had that few days working in the detailer's place and I got to try quite a few different offerings from Rupes and Flex (which were in a different league). Given I have a small car and only do this for the pleasure (I don't need a huge pad to save time on an endless line of vehicles) I found the 75E machine was so much more manoeuvrable, controllable, less tiring to use and easier to work into tighter spaces (even though the throw is relatively large, the slightly tapered pads are nice and forgiving if you get too close to things). So far I'm super happy with it, it's a huge upgrade from the G220 as it just doesn't bog down, even when I really leaned in. I've not tried to really mow anything down yet, but that's not in my wheelhouse anyway. The only down side I can see so far is the proprietary pads but, to be honest, having fewer choices to make is not really such a bad thing for a novice like me. It means I've got to learn to make the tool work properly instead of fannying around trying new combos. As I get more experienced, I'd be tempted to add one of it's bigger brothers or probably just man up and go straight to the Flex and take my chances! One of the reasons for picking it was that if I got it wrong, it would still be useful for tight spaces and I could buy something else - but unless I get an SUV, this will be plenty of polisher for me for the foreseeable. For someone like you, I think you'd either need to have a specific need for the smaller tool or just entertain one of the other bigfoots - but really I'd say go Flex and feel the rotary power. I'd love to know what @Ricey uses day to day.
  17. I'm gonna need a link to that short PW gun.
  18. Any more takers, before I place the order? 1.SuperStu (two) 2.KevT (one) 3. Andy_Muxlow (one) 4. andy James (one) 5. NeeZ (one) 6. wvSTUwv (one) 7. Woodzman (one) 8.Ricochet (one) 9. Paul K (one) 10. cs2000 (one) 11. sk08rad (one) 12. StormtrooperZ (one) 13 Stuggerz (one) 14. MBS (two)
  19. I treated myself to a Rupes LHR 75E Mini not so long along ago, but haven't had the combination of good weather and free time required to do the whole car. Naturally I've been itching to have a play with it, so this seemed like an opportune moment to have a bash. There was no way it was going to make it look any worse!!!
  20. Decent shout that Glen, could be a goopy sort of spill.
  21. Doing a big winter detail and came across this. I had to mess about with the image a bit to show it but it’s a pretty fair reflection of what it looked like. It was on the bottom 3 inches of the passenger door, about half way down. Around 8 inches long, running from front to back. It looked like the residue from a sticker or decal, but I’ve never had one there. It had no discernible different “feel” from the surrounding area, when running my fingers over it (that is to say it felt smooth like the paint). Neither neat APC nor a BH auto clay bar touched it. In the end I broke out the Rupes and shifted it with a yellow pad and fine polish. Anyone seen anything like this before?
  22. This is one that’s an issue with the forum software (rather than us), hoping to get a fix in the next update, can’t promise a fix date yet though - sorry for the pain, I use the view myself and appreciate it’s an irritation not to have. Sorry gang.
  23. Who thinks that’s a “tyre worn down to the metal”? It’s just a wheel.
  24. Usually around £20 delivered, depends on how many are ordered.
