Im going to go and see both the managers and hr department on monday. I have thought about leaving and re-applying to the new department. Thats a last resort though.

Thats just it. He has been fighting to the point he is now even trying to get me into a secondment with that department. Take the secondment, that means they have to keep your old job open for you ... it's a win win situation I would gladly but again my boss is denying it. Whats worse is i have had no valid reason as to why i cant go. Simply i have nobody trained to replace you! Thats not a valid reason. If i decided to leave ..you still would have nobody.

I applied officially in writing, i informed my manager of the decision who told me ok but makesure its what you want. I then had an interview and had to do a presentation. After the new manager said i was wanted my current manager said no im not going ! Thanks for the comments, to be honest im absolutely furious with the management and how they went about dealing with it but is leaving too hasty ? Im aware im in a good well paid position i might struggle to find elsewhere.

Hey guys, just thought i would run this by you guys to get some opinions. I recently applied for an internal promotion in a different department of the business i work for. After much deliberation and back and forth arguing between the department managers i have been denied the promotion by my current manager because he "doesnt have anybody to replace me" and he doesnt want to lose me. The move would have been a big career move for me with more money an much better prospects. Im very dissappointed and feel deflated by it to the point im considering leaving the company. Is there anything i can do to fight this ? Any opinions welcome. Thanks

Its a very good rwd car to start off in imo. Ive had less and more powerful rwd cars and this is by far the easiest to get to grips with. A few months an you will be trying to get little slips from the back end. Eventually you will be comfortably driving it quickly around bends in the wet. Aslong as you dont floor it everywhere straight from the off you will be just fine.

Top marks for trying something different.

Paintwork is a weak point to. Check for rust and laquer peeling.

Im a big honda fanboy. Love them. I can honestly say its the most reliable car i have ever owned. I tuned the hell out of my type r (fn2) everything from suspension to exhaust and never had to replace anything, not even a worn bush. Brilliant cars. Only thing i will say is that the vtec engine does drink oil. Its meant to but do check the oil levels between 1500-2000 miles as it will need a top up.

Dont think its a cracked disc and if it was it wouldnt put me off buying a car. Replacements discs are not overly expensive and they are a wear and tear item. If the car is otherwise spot on then use the disc to haggle the price down and you have yourself a nice ride at a good price for the sake of replacing a disc !!

So as i promised eve from aqua graphix i would post up some fitted pics of my new interior here they are : I went for black basecoat with silver weave carbon fibre and a gloss coat on the dark trim and silver basecoat with deadhedz skulls and gloss finish on the silver trim. Must admit it turned out better than i could have imagined. Hope you all like and can see the quality of the workmanship from aquagraphix. Im well pleased

Its the remastered version for the next gen consoles. Not sure what you mean by latest version though unless they changed it again ?
