  1. Cheers, do you maybe participate on Grobnik? Zeds are always present there Also Dado was quite successful with his Z, if I remember correctly.. Greetings from Slovenia
  2. But I bet your shower vacuum holder wasn't £250?
  3. I use 6th above 35 mph Of course only on long straight roads without any incline and without acceleration.

    Spacers

25/30 looks perfect, but you need to roll the arches if you decide to lower your car.. I have 25/25 and I miss additional 5 mm in the back.
  5. It's 1820kg or around 275kg of 'baggage'. According to this site 25L of garden soil weights 13kg, so 36 bags is equal to 468kg which is way over the limit. Not sure how it affects the car, but it sure is a good way of lowering it!
  6. Nice, I'm also planning to dip my rims black today or tomorrow

    Average mph

Because it calculates even the time when you're standing still. My current average is 15 mph.

    Oil level

    Mine uses 1l every 10.000km. 06 rev-up.
  9. Especially kids around 10-15 years old admire my car
  10. Does maybe cobra come with tüv? If anyone knows..
  11. No they're not, the switches are on the same side as the seatbelt, which is correct. lol
  12. Hi, my dome light switches under the transparent plastic cover next to the light bulb stopped working (my fault). Part number is MS-010A Did anyone by any chance have the same problem and successfully found a replacement switch? Or if anyone knows where to look, or sells them.. I know it's a long shot, but I rather ask before buying whole dome light assembly as I would be basically giving ~50€ for two small switches.. Thanks!
  13. Actually only the friction between the wheel(, spacer) and the hub is what holds your wheel in place under hard acceleration and hard braking, where is the weakest point of the whole assembly due to direction of the forces. Bolt torque only provides sufficient friction in this case. That's why I wouldn't (and don't) put any grease on that surface, I rather unbolt the spacer once in a while to prevent "welding". Hadn't had a problem in 7 years.
  14. Ok....but what the hell have the wheel sizes got to do with tyre pressures?! THAT'S what has confused us all. Ooh, fair shout... didnt really know tbh.... was assuming that if the wheel was bigger, it may mean the pressure would need to be different from that with a smaller wheel given the lower volume of air that can be fitted in the tyre... but i guess the nature of pressure as a unit makes that irrelevant thinking about it! Was just trying to be thorough... not purposely trying to drive everyone mad ! Well, this is actually correct, the rim/tire size is relevant, especially with cars that have 15"-19" stock, where the difference is even bigger. Also, you can't measure rim size by measuring outside edges of the rim, you should refer to numbers on the tire wall.

  16. How did you get 605 out of a tank..That's 3 tanks for me...!! It was on my way home from Nürburgring (I'm not from UK), so we were driving 10 hours straight, highway, with a little detour to see Hockenheim ring (half an hour of city driving) Actual numbers are 974km, 7.15l/100km, which is ~600miles, ~40mpg I reckon you can get 650 or even 700 miles (but it would be quite boring), without a detour, without luggage and because there was still some fuel in the tank in the end. I filled up 69,67l, so if full capacity is 80l, there were ~10 litres still left in the tank. These calculations about total fuel capacity are usually a bit tricky, so I wouldn't bet on the exact numbers..
  17. My best was 605 miles on one tank, average around 360..
  18. Hmm, at the most, low profile and wide tyres are a disadvantage, aren't they?
  19. I see most people here use 5-30. I'm surprised that 5-40 or 5-50 (also Mobil for example) are not more common, as we are talking about a sports car..
  20. High flow cats.. I'd go with the exhaust and leave the intakes alone.
  21. Scirocco R is quick.. It was actually faster than STI and EVO on best motoring.
  22. Grrr.. I hate pedestrians.
  23. I don't see the connection..
  24. And why did they do so? Sorry for the off topic, but I've never heard an answer to that...
