    Spare y-pipes?

Sorry, my mistake, I meant Toyosports. I agree, for the price its more than ok. Although the bidding prices seem to up, today it went for over 100 £ http://www.ebay.com/...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

    Spare y-pipes?

I swapped mine today (been driving around with no y pipe for last three days, whole car rattles, but you get free foot massage), fitment no issues, but 1 or 2 cm shorter as well. Didn't really affect that much. I was asking because in all the threads where someone was asking about japspeed, the answers were to stay away due to poor build quality and fitment. Interesting though, I didn't see any negative feedback from people who bought and installed it.

    Spare y-pipes?

But be prepared to bid a bit higher, last few went for a bit more: http://www.ebay.co.u...E:B:WNA:US:3160 http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1435.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1435.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/...11568&ext=28290 edit: Floydbax, was the fitment OK or did you have any problems?
  7. I don't see how shields could be connected with passing MOT. They have completely different purpose.
  8. For the Y pipe, its 2×2,25" to 2,5". (Thats what I found on forum, not my measurements.)
  9. +1. I understand how traction control could intervene due to (no) difference in tire circumference, I just don't get why some people have problem with that and some don't. Could it be Z's are programmed differently? That would be odd..
  10. -You should have got installation guide from Wasso, I think -Theres a "diy" in faq->guide section of the forum (-If you write the title in google you get bunch of useful results:) )
  11. If you were thinking just of putting the LED bulb in, don't do it. Parabolas were not designed for them and will not work properly. Throw, light distribution and visibility are rubbish.
  12. Frankly oil filter is in a nice position, easy to access and to change while you are under there pouring out the oil.

I was contemplating KU39, but then went with Nexen N8000 instead, they were better and cheaper in my case..
  14. Ordered Whiteline swaybar, great service, great communication, quick shipping to Slovenia! Thanks Ewen & Clark Motorsport!

    NEXEN N8000

Actually I don't disagree. No problem, we can look at the whole tyre, but lets focus to all capabilities in dry and wet, because noise, fuel consumption and wear do not directly relate to road safety which we are talking about. Dry road: 2.0 Wet: 2.3 That places N8000 before Semperit which is in 7th place. So 7th out of 19. If poor results are mainly due to excessive wear and not due to being unsafe, then it is the least of my concerns as I will be probably changing tyres after 4 years because of the age, with enough of the thread left. On the other hand, somebody else who spends a lot of time in his car (maybe even different, more comfortable car) might be mainly focused that the tire lasts long and that its quiet and so on.. So as I said, I know these tyres are not the best if we are looking at the whole package, but considering just the safety, according to adac, they are not bad either.

You are correct, but these are not scores for braking only, but for all tyre properties in dry/wet. For braking scores you can see below Trocken-Bremsen: 1.3 and Nass-Bremsen: 2.0. I'm not saying that this tyre is better or as good as the others, but for me, braking is the most important part as you probably need it the most in critical situations, so if they cope well here, they're good enough for me. I don't care that much about noise and wear, also not that crazy about sideways grip. If I ever lose grip, they will go well with the sticker on my car "less traction more action" But I didn't have any problem so far, they are not bad at all..

If changing from 255/45/18 to 255/40/18 your speedo would be reading 60 when you would be actually going 57,77mph. Its 3,7% difference in circumference, more than 3% is not advisable. (However, going from 245/45/18 which is standard for Zed, to 255/40/18, its 2,4% difference, which should theoretically be ok. 275/40/18 would be spot on - 0,1%, but then you lose slimmer sidewall.) Edit: Slimmer sidewalls might look good, but you also increase arch gap and together you don't gain much..

    NEXEN N8000

I'm sorry to post in an old thread, but I have to reply to this as this was also my main concern when buying tyres. The N8000 are great at stopping, actually better than most other tyres. At the test concluded by ADAC last year they were just as good as Continental ContiSportContact5, Michelin PilotSport3 and Bridgestone Potenza S001 for braking in dry and scored the best in whole test for braking in wet (better than Goodyear F1, Dunlop Sport, Pirelli, ...). These are quite impressive results and helped me bias towards buying this brand. Cheaper price is due to not reputable company name, excessive wear and noise. If you take that into account and don't care, it's not that bad choice
  19. So there's no quick fix for the rev-up model?
  20. Haha, nice. It should be like that through the whole camping
  21. You have to remove the shocks and grease them around the gaskets on top. It's a common problem on Zeds.
  22. I had the following sound somewhere around the rear strut: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qb_mnpyCVkQ Also thought it was the surrounding plastics, so I took them off.. A scoop of grease later and the problem was solved
  23. Which one did you take and where from? I'm currently looking to purchase the antiroll bar and I'm having a similar problem
  24. Thats right. I think he held Grobnik track record for street legal car. Also ran Nurburgring in 7:55, not bad
