  1. I also wrapped my in 'carbon fiber'. The hardest part is the part around the gear shift. The 3 dials are actually easily removable, just stick the soldering iron in holes where it's welded together and pry them off. When you're done, just repeat the procedure and stick them together, I didn't have any major problem. http://i.imgur.com/FXGmHkn.jpg http://i.imgur.com/2QEdc62.jpg And the parts around the window switches http://i.imgur.com/jNKMryq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/P0LTJEv.jpg Plastidipping is probably much simpler and there are endless color possibilities , but in my opinion the texture finish is nicer with vinyl.
  2. I was driving without the strut bar for a few days after the spark plugs change last week and I didn't notice any difference, even when drifting a few corners. Maybe because I wasn't paying attention to that, would be interesting to try again and focus on chassis flexing and responsiveness..
  3. You're probably right. I also don't have a plan to roll them all the way up, so I hope this helps the paint not to stretch too much and crack. Will do
  4. Nice!Did you maybe protect the paint in any way afterwards to prevent rust? That's the only thing keeping me away from doing the arches myself : S

  12. I bet if someone removed the strut bar on your car without you knowing, you wouldn't notice the difference in handling..
  13. I have H&R and I believe they are just as good as Eibach. But I guess they're not so common in UK (I'm not from here), because no one ever mentions them?
  14. Would it make sense to upgrade just the connecting rods, which I believe are the weakest link? Is that not correct or is it not worth opening the engine and then replacing just the rods? I know this has been probably covered before, but since it's a fresh debate and I see some different opinions, I might as well ask..
  15. I use Pirelli Sottozero, because I got them cheap and they were best bang for the buck. had Ultragrip 7 and then 8 on previous car and were also good. The limit last winter was actually the ride height, not slopes and hills
  16. Winter days with roads covered in snow are the most fun times I ever had in my Z. With proper winter tires of course..
  17. This SC kit would't fit rev up, right?

    Spare Wheel

I think it shouldn't be a problem since it is the front tire. If it was the rear one, than you should be more careful about it..
  19. Ok, thanks. I just wasn't sure, because JetSet above said the wheel should spin freely and that in my case is far from freely as I'm trying quite hard to even rotate the disc
