Your well in budget but remember your trying to find a 10 year old car with mint bodywork. Lower your standards a little on the paint side and remember that a front bumper respay is pretty cheap aswell as getting the car professionally machine polished

Thanks for your help, i've had a look at the for sale section and seems to be a decent range of cars within my budget. I'm not sure what to think of this but i've been quoted £1,350 fully comp by my insurance company. How does that sound seeing as i'll only be 20 when I buy? That sounds about right. Mine was £1,200 at 21 with 3 points (SP30) now its £850 at 22. With e46 M3's and Evo's around the £2/3k mark, the zed is a cheap car to insure for young drivers. Its a choice you wont regret
