  1. Any comparison pics of the different tailpipes fitted? Like the look of the Draga slash cut or the Jap
  2. Thanks, good feedback
  3. Did this mod after 2 weeks of owning my Zed; was fed up of stalling or being launched like a rocket at traffic lights!! Much improved
  4. Cool They are a pain in the #*5e Difference in price will go towards fitting ;-)
  5. Thanks Realise I posted in wrong forum... Will reconsider going resonated. Want loud, but not so loud it spoils driving. Use the car daily to drive to work which is 15mins away.
  6. Next mod will be an exhaust upgrade. I don't drive long distances, so drone not a worry. Looking at the Cobra non-resonated and tempted by the carbon tips. Anybody have these fitted and could post a review / pic? My car is gunmetal grey.
  7. Really pleased. Only took 2hrs even though I kept having to double check everything!
  8. Not had a chance to take out yet but sounds good so far! Pretty easy to fit. I'm quite comfortable installing ICE etc, first time installing anything under the bonnet. Only minor blood loss during the process..
  9. Arrived today :-) kit looks great Weekend fitting hopefully. First time at anything like this. Quite happy doing ICE and electrics, hope this goes well!
  10. Arrived this morning from China. Hopefully no snow next weekend I can fit
  11. Hi You lose the inbuilt phone when fitting an aftermarket unit. The steering wheel buttons will give other functions. On my Pioneer one switches between inputs (DAB/iPod etc) and the other I don't recall off the top of my head Jon
  12. Been using Carminat v32.1 in my Birdview since last year 2012 map with all recent road changes in the area http://gpsunderground.com/forum/renault-nissan-infiniti/17705-renault-dvd-v32-1-update-cd.html
  13. Been using Carminat v32.1 in my Birdview since last year 2012 map with all recent road changes in the area http://gpsunderground.com/forum/renault-nissan-infiniti/17705-renault-dvd-v32-1-update-cd.html
  14. It's really quite easy if you follow the guides in the forum. Looks a lot harder than it actually is.
  15. Fitted this morning, took a couple of hours all in without any real probs. Did forget to plug the FM aerial in though, annoying but that can wait! Planned to put Dab aerial on passenger side of windscreen, but picked up interference when cable was routed in. Maybe too close to my power feed to the amp for my sub. So, aerial is now on the small side window passenger side and seems fine. Will go for a drive tomorrow to see if I need to change. Sound is great on Dab and iPod, clear and louder than the Alpine it replaces. Played with App radio for 5 mins. Looks good and will see how Dashcmd looks tomorrow. Impressed so far, especially at less than £300
  16. Will do. On offer at Halfords right now for £299. Not quite the cheapest but convenient to pickup.
  17. Ordered the Pioneer AN-DAB1 to try first. Had a Pure Highway in the car last year using just the standard windscreen aerial and reception was fine. Other option I'm thinking is to replace the FM one.... Anyone done this?
  18. Looking forward to getting DAB back in the car and trying out the App mode
  19. Saturday sorted..... As long as fascia adapter, aerial, iPod cable turn up tomorrow.....
  20. 350z 07-08 HR Intakes Polished £285 delivered Can't resist at this price. Have sent PM Jon
  21. Was about to opt for a dual JWT pop charger... Any reason why these would be better? Roughly the same cost.
  22. I have an aftermarket sub/amp installed and use the high pass filter to stop the Bose sub kicking in. Much better bass.
