  1. I wouldn't have a v2 and a charge speed rear because the front has canards on it once you add them and the rear is vented, imo it doesn't really go together. If it was mine I'd keep the bodykit standard and add carbon accents everywhere, but don't do that as I'm doing it lol!
  2. Il need a few more soon mark, will come to you guys for them, completely forgot when I was there last Friday would have bought some then lol Going for these now jnstead of nissans on your recommendation mark, I've had a look into the hawk pads aswell, also looking into endless at the moment to
  3. No Dip not ignoring you Havent been out in a while either tbh, you coming sunday to box hill? Sam, it sounds absolutely brutal and quite a few people have already commented on how good it sounds but its slightly to loud for me so this saturday when im fitting my carbon sills il be putting the stock y pipe and centre pipe back on to see how much quieter it is, hopefully it will be spot on then i can sell the other two bits and have the perfect setup for me Whilst writing back i have another update to sling in the journal Last friday when the snow was pouring i was at Abbey motorsport having the car done, First of all the guys did the stage one work for the magazine then once completed cracked on with the stage two work and tweaking the Uprev again to suit. Couldnt really test the car on the way home but one thing i did notice was the sharper throttle response. Now the snow has pretty much gone ive 'used' the car a bit more and can definately feel a punchier mid range and greater pull everywhere in the rev range, car is now running 300bhp bang on which im happy with, gained a nice healthy 20lb ft aswell. Got some snaps of the work being carried out: Motordyne plenum spacer HKS hybrid filter and velocity stack Stage one parts
  4. Afternoon all Reason i ask is becuase ive ordered a HKS hybrid oil filter from Sumo Power but the car selection changed to a HR from DE as i put the order through, so rang them up and asked them to change it. But worst comes to worst even if they still do send a HR fitment one will it fit my DE? If not back it goes Cheers Arran
  5. 06 airbox mod and performance filter, y pipe thats your lot really fella without going big bucks Could take cats of for de cats
  6. CSL gets carbon front and rear bumpers, carbon bootlid with ducktail spoiler, carbon roof, cardboard boot foor mat, lightweight plastic rear screen and windows, carbon airbox and new map for 16 extra bhp, CSL wheels, stripped out interior with carbon fibre door cards and centre console, CSL numbered plaque Auto xenons, auto air con and a stereo are optional extras And thats on top of the spec shared with CS (bar the CS vs CSL wheels)
  7. Gets m track mode in smg like CSL, CS wheels not CSL slightly different wheels, CSL steering rack, competition front discs, CSL springs and the suede wheel It's a compromise between the normal version and CSL just adding a few extra driver orientated bits
  8. Had mine done on Friday by mark, mines on 69k. Nothing for an engine like the VQ fella
  9. Standard looking for the sleeper effect, that's style way to do it imo Spend the money saved on extra performance/handling parts
  10. Keeping them for the power and that I won't have to go back to abbey for a tweak on the uprev as the lambdas are turned off, keeping the stock y pipe and centre won't be that restrictive so will e a minimal loss Dave there's no vibrations just a serious increase in volume compared to the resonated cobra y pipe back on its own, decats have given a bit of a rasp which I like so hopefully it will all be toned down by the stock y pipe and centre being fitted again
  11. Well had car all done at abbey, lovely weather getting home...... Not lol Couldn't really test the car out but the throttle response is improved l so far, it's also now to loud for my liking with the full system so I'm going to put the stock y pipe and centre pipe back on to see how that sounds and keep the decats and cobra backbox, don't want to do it but I can't live with it like that and the mrs hates it from when i took her out in it when I got back. So may have a brand new cobra y pipe (literally will have done 50 miles) and a 500 mile old cobra resonated centre pipe for sale next weekend.
  12. Incorrect fella, everything about the E9x M3 is different to the cooking models, Front subframe and suspension completely different as is the rear, brake setup etc, bodywork and dimensions. Its a different car altogether the only thing it might share with the E9x 3 series is the bonnet and boot roundels However after a remap, FMIC, decat etc the 335i will beat an M3 in a drag race not around a track though
  13. 335i all day long, the M3s have problems with boot floors tearing, headgaskets and other niggles, they are very expensice to buy parts for. Plus everyman and his dog has one, the E92 with a nice spec will be much nicer to live with, better built, drives nicer and more comfortable and alot quicker after a remap whilst being affordable to keep going
  14. They'll both fit perfectly as there both quality items, performance will probably be the same if the stillen goes from 2.5" to 3" collector like the cobra does, tbh I'd have the cobra even if I didn't have the rest of the system as it won't vibrate like the stillen could potentially do and you'll save 50 quid in the process, that's my opinion anyway. If you check my journal I've just put pictures of my new cobra y pipe up so you can see the differences between the two
  15. Go for a cobra y pipe, excellent quality at a very competitive price. So much so I received mine last week to match the rest of the cobra system lol. The stillen has no flexis so can't take up vibration albeit the flexi will never fail as it doesn't have one but your not buying a japspeed so I wouldn't worry about the flexi failing from another brand.
  16. Cant wait til friday Keyser im like a school kid at christmas Cheers CS brakes will be ordered soon aswell, can you get HEL brake lines in gold? want to match the brembos Jordan i want to be able to think still Wizard i can do fella, i have a cobra resonated system at the moment so it will be complete after the Y pipe and decats are fitted so i will let you know, although it will be a fair bit louder than stock
  17. Got another update for the beasts journal, decided to start stockpiling some parts ready for some work being done on the Z. After the rolling road day at Abbey where i found out i have a great engine and base to start with i decided to order a few bits needed for some ever increasing smiles Im booked in with Abbey this friday and saturday for the stage 1 work for Japanese performance magazine which is Plenum spacer Velocity stack Performance air filter Uprev then on the saturday il be having the following done Cobra Y pipe Horsham silenced de cats Samco intake hose Uprev'd again from friday Also booked my Nurburgring and Stelvio pass trip for June, so really looking forward to that aswell Here's some photos of the parts waiting to be fitted, cant wait! Cobra Y pipe and H Dev silenced de cats Samco intake hose Pictures dont seem to be working so il correct that tonight when im home
  18. I'm going to leave them plain, looks a lot nicer Will be easy to fit, first of all take the old ones off, then clean the paint underneath and around with either shampoo or an apc, make sure it's completely dry, then depending on how your going to attach them it's probably best to let them bond into position by leaving some tape over them for a few hours. Once done stand back and admire!
  19. For a set all round on mine fitted is 650 quid Pete, tyres come to 317 on fronts and 307 rear from camskill and then fitted for a drink at work, just need an alignment then but want a proper setup so might go abbey. Vat can suck my nuts lol
  20. I have a set waiting to go on, you have to take off your old ones and either stick or bond these on. I'm using a really good bonding tape from work called butyl tape. Sticks like @*!# to a blanket The quality of the sills is excellent, beautiful finish. I got mine directly from ep racing
  21. Well the rears are a pound difference between the two and the fronts only 18 pound difference, il happily pay out knowing I have the very best i can get. I know the PSS have some if not the best reviews so I am swaying more towards those at the moment The vreds look really cool though! Lol
  22. Morning all Need some views and experience on these two tyres as ive booked a Nurburgring and Stelvio Pass trip in June so will need 4 new tyres by then Basically they come in at pretty much the same price so no issue there but i want to know if anyone has experience with either or even both would be great, As i know the Michelin PSS are meant to be the best performance tyre out there but the Vreds have excellent reviews as well Also would it be worth going from a 225/45/18 to a 235/40 or 235/45 for a bit more contact with the road and from 245/45/18 to a 255/45 or 255/40 at the rear Any ideas please guys Cheers Arran
  23. If its made by the same k sport that make big brake kits wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, cheap Chinese manufacturing
  24. Looking forward to what you will have in store mark and the team. See you early in the new year for my cars transformation
