Small update from today, new gear gaiter with purple stitching
Waiting for my new handbrake cover to arrive before doing that gaiter to match
Also played around with my new brakes
Had to buy a new jack 1st, my normal one doesn't fit anymore
Can't wait for my new wheel nuts to arrive, the socket I have to use to get the current ones off is SOOO tight on the wheels, even made a few marks recently so covered the socket in some masking tape, didn't really help though
About time to change the brakes as well!!!
Some noticeable scaring on the current discs
Comparison of the new disc in front of the existing ones
Even covers up the caliper as well when put over the top of the current setup
And the bigger calipers will certainly help as well
Hope to get them fitted soon, need to get the rear calipers painted the same colour
Day off tomorrow to get on with an extensive list:
- Re-fit cubby unit in dash, haven't figured out a wiring module to make it open/close yet but getting sick of looking at a hole in the dash
- Cut the phono cables that link the stereo to the speakers, and hardwire them into the speaker wires on the ISO block
- Remove existing studs on rear hubs and replace with longer studs
- Fit spacers on rear
- Remove adjuster cups from rear springs to put the rear down another 10-15mm or so
- Fit adjustable drop links front and back
- Replace passenger side window motor so I can finally have use of my passenger window again
- Remove weight in boot lid
- Adjust passenger side headlight alignment, for some reason seems to have noticeably dipped below the drivers side position :\
- Whilst the wheels are off, they'll be getting cleaned and sealed
- If my new wheel nuts arrive, they'll go on too
