  4. I used to have them HSDs and had same problem. Other thing you can try... Adjuster-rings, I think there are 2 or 3 of them...if you dropping all the way down, you only will need one. So remove one 1 or 2, that will make it drop a bit (drop will be same as the thickens of the ring)
  5. Cawston Car Bodies in Rugby. Worked on 2 of my cars and many cars of my mates and done a perfect job each time and very reasonable prices!
  6. Sorry to hear that man! Agree with everyone on here and as Ekona said - stick it on 0% credit card... Tesco do 18 months 0%, which I think is great and takes minutes to apply and get answer online.
  7. That's shocking! If he didn't see a car...what if it was a bike? A bit less reaction and chances are biker would've been dead! Scary!
  8. The seats are great, more comfortable than the leathers, grippier and have lumbar support, might sell them, though But only if I can find a set of the EP3 Civic Recaros which have red centres. Oh let me know when you decide to sell them, I might be intrested
  9. Great buy mate! Car looks awesome and love them seats!
  10. I usually see a black 350z, parked behind skydome in outside ikea car park.
  11. I have a passenger side one if needed?
  12. Bonus! Yea I was quite surprised when I found receipt as I usually lose things like that...especially if it's nearly 2.5years old lol
  13. Ah fair enough lol good job I didn't get assy with him then I'll try to change it in January 2018 again then if I still have my Zed by then that is lol
  14. I bought new car battery (Bosch S4) in January 2014 and in last 6 months it was getting flat quite often...originally I put it down to not driving car enough and then thought that something was draining it (alarm, car stereo etc). Finally got time to sort it out...borrowed a battery tester from my friend and tested it when it was flat...it showed State of charge 0% and State of health 0%. Jump started it and went for a drive. Got home, SOC gone up to 78% and SOH gone up to about same. I then completely removed battery from the car and tested it in the morning (about 12hrs after disconnecting it) and it dropped charge from 78% to 25%. That made it clear that battery is knackered. I managed to find original invoice and receipt from EuroCarParts and battery has 4 years warranty. Bonus. Went there today and guy did a quick test and said "yea, it's knackered" and gave me brand new one without any questions asked... BUT... He refused to give me new receipt? So now I only have warranty that left from purchasing my original one. His point was "if we give out fresh warranty on every replacement battery, people would never buy new batteries. They will just bring it back day before warranty runs out and excnhge it for a new one for another nearly 4 years and then do same again" Fair point, but my point is - battery comes with 4 years warranty...I now have a new battery and I want 4 years of warranty on it. If people bring it back day before warranty ends - shop/garage still test it to see if it's good or not...if it is good, then customer don't get new battery. But if they test it and it is knackered - it didn't live to the expectations and should be replaced. Do you see my point? Guy wasn't having any of it. I'm not really that bothered as I still have warranty till end of January 2018... Just principle. What do you guys think about this one? I think I have a valid point, but am I missing something?
  15. A bit late to cancel considering he is already got it lol Might be worth to try to send it back and ask for a refund and possibly involve Ebay for a dispute.
  16. None of you fu***rs chipped in when I bought dodgy supercharger...
  17. Done! Left it to cure till tomorrow, before I put any oil in.
  18. F**k it...I strip it all down again and re-do with washers and may be a drop of thread lock. Rather spend 1hr redoing it than it becoming lose and having oil starvation/blown engine lol
  19. Yea I torqued it properly and used a bit of that grey sealant on both sides of the spacer. Hmmm....do I strip it all again or do I not? Lol
  20. I think his looks different as his side gripes (perforated leather) were made way longer than OEM/other retrimmed wheels. To bottom and top sections (normal leather) are quite small and to me look a bit out of place like that...but that's only my opinion. Also sorry to point out, but 12 o'clock ribbon looks a bit wonky as well lol
  21. You made me so paranoid that I even had a dream about them bloody bolts You know your stuff, so I trust your word and will strip it all again later on today and fit spring washers. Good job I didn't put any oil in yesterday and double good job that I bought 2 tubes of sealant
  22. I managed to find bolts that came with the spacer. Original bolts never had any washers fitted...so I fitted new ones without washers as well. You think it's bad and it will get loose?
  23. Yea, that's the tricky bit to put it up withou smearing. Especially with spacer as that makes 2 movable parts. I might use couple of studs to keep it aligned I took a razor blade to bottom of block to make sure all the original gunk and stuff had gone to get a flat surface We got two studs in each end asap, as soon as we mated with bottom of block you could tell it wanted to slide to the left or right, and as Alex said went round a torqued straight away after hand fitting all bolts,I left mine without oil in and to dry for 3 weeks though just to be sure There's always one who takes it too far
