  1. Son number one is well into bikes and has just purchased a 999. He rides Philip Island regularly. He's even called his son Troy ! After Bayliss or Corser?
  2. Haha. Yeah, there are definitely 'those that know' and those that just think its VERY broken! Starting and riding a Duke is never just a ride, it's an event. Stop it now, you're making me miss mine
  3. My 748S looked just like that (except for black Marcesini's). Glad to see you've got Termi's AND an open clutch cover (Although I doubt your neighbours will be) Very nice Enjoy
  4. Hello and Good luck with your search.
  5. I did think "At least you've still got yours mate" (with you in mind Ben).
  6. By the sounds of it, it could of been a lot worse mate (I'm thinking door, rear quarter) Might be able to pick a skirt up in decent condition for cheaper than the repair cost. Put an ad in the wanted section and take a look on eBay.
  7. Hello and Callum. Now you've started a list, don't ever expect to reach the end of it....
  8. Mark, my 'started months ago' comment was directly focused on the underside of my bonnet. Yes, seeing your fantastic engine bay, and bay's such as Wasso's on regular occasions did inspire me to tackle my own, but I'm not claiming any of this was MY idea. The only credit i'm taking (thank you guys BTW) is for the work I've done, the same way you should take credit for all the work that's gone into your car. I just thought I'd take some pics and share what I'd done as I'm really pleased with my results.
  9. The last time I saw wrapping like that, Vanilla Ice was miming very badly....
  10. And now EVEN MORE orange! (It had to be done).
  11. I started on the bonnet months ago mate! Just never actually finished version 1.0 with the silver inlays!
  12. Well I've done it over the course of this week (apply a coat each night, let it dry the following day, then onto the next). Using the car daily would of been a PITA taking the bonnet off!
  13. 17.08.2013 OK, so I painted the underside of my bonnet this week too More details here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/75047-even-more-orange/
  14. Fair play for giving it a go though mate. Glad they're not staying blue though TBH.
  15. After recently completing the Tangerine Dream Machine transformation of my engine bay and also months of attending meets with my "work in progress" underside of my bonnet, including masking tape (see first pic), I thought it was about time I actually completed the job! So, rattling the cans of paint I had left, I set to work.. Before (a work in progress).... First the white primer A few coats of orange Masked up with some divider cards and start with the silver All finished and lacquered End result. Well pleased
  16. Sorry, I know it doesn't help, but Plastidip customer service is terrible. I complained about some gunmetal stuff I received as it looks nothing like a gunmetal colour, more like grey primer. I now have 2 cans of the stuff that I have no use for, sat on the shelf. Did not have the courtesy to acknowledge or respond to my emails.
  17. Great, cheers Andy. I've a couple to make this weekend, but I've added you to the list. I'll be in touch soon.
