F4ABP, have you got (and are you after) a K1 or a K2? The reson I ask is you state you're after a K1 AND a centre pipe (Quote ".....and also the stright pipe that goes down the centre of the car has torn completelly open...."). The K1 system includes the centre pipe as it splits near the diff to the two seperate cans (it's Y pipe back) whereas the K2 is a single stainless backbox that connects to the centre pipe you mention.

Chances are, if doing it by post that I won't get the tax disc back until aftert the 1st anyway. Only just bought the car Ad (last week), so registered keeper details would still be the former keeper.

I want to tax a vehicle from 1st October. The vehicle is currently SORN and I do not have the reminder to do it online. When can I tax the vehicle at a Post Office so the date BEGINS from the 01/10? Is there a point I can tax it before this date, or will I have to wait until the 1st (and join a no doubt huge lunchtime queue where everyone else is doing the same)? Cheers, Ian

Feel for you mate. Think it's time you started being a bit more assertive with them. They just keep asking YOU to call THEM back! At this point I think I would of asked the mechanic to call YOU back tomorrow, or as soon as he has any news. Log/make a note of all the times you were promised a call, but never received one and had to do the chasing yourself. Sounds like they're starting to take advantage of your good nature Kyle.
