[SOLD]370z Akrapovic exhaust & carbon tips
PS13Silvia replied to PS13Silvia's topic in 370z Parts For Sale
I was... Spent about 8 years faffing about with cars, had enough now. Selling my Evo at a bargain too. I'm happy to courier it buddy, just would prefer collection as that's easier. Think I remember chatting with you at Japfest few years back, did you come by and have a listen in the afternoon or was that somebody else? -
[SOLD]370z Akrapovic exhaust & carbon tips
PS13Silvia replied to PS13Silvia's topic in 370z Parts For Sale
I honestly don't mind Nub, I'm selling up completely and getting out of the 'car scene / community' so number of f*cks to give are in minus figures. Here's the video from my project thread (post #54) after installation if it helps anyone interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm7cU9vNmuM -

PS13Silvia replied to PS13Silvia's topic in 370z Parts For Sale
Cheers guys, Like I said wasn't sure what to price it at, have put open to offers though so anyone interested just ping me a message, worst I can do is say no I've ran it with OEM cats for the whole time, wouldn't want it any louder tbh, but that's just me. As it's still on the car anyone is welcome to come have a butchers. -

PM sent buddy Thanks Chris. They're not very common second hand so wasn't sure where to start, just know they cost a lot more than what I'm asking -
[SOLD]370z Akrapovic exhaust & carbon tips

Thanks, I will get some better pics after work tonight as I was in a rush this morning -
Considering taking my car back to stock to PX. It's only done about 18k miles from new, still in very good condition and yeah, it sounds awesome. Asking price: £950 - but I'm open to offers Collection preferred, located in Telford, Shropshire. It's still on the car at the moment, bit of a spare of the moment idea this, so sorry about the rushed car park pic. Eibach springs & 25mm spacers would be up for sale shortly afterwards if this goes ahead by the way. Additional pics, still installed on the car and it's sat on springs so difficult to get underneath it...
-
Combination of both really, the springs dropped the ride height about 20-25mm and then fitting the side steps which are bolted on underneath the car, taking them of would increase ground clearance between the front & rear axles as they're the lowest part of the car - I use them as a bit of a guide, going over a big speed bump and if the side steps don't catch then my Akrapovic won't catch either. The front lip however is no lower than the OEM bumper as it wraps around it and sort of comes up instead of down if you know what I mean... I will be giving the car a decent wash for JAE next week, so will definitely have some pics up by Thursday
-
Cheers guys I do look after my stuff but that said it is a used car with 41k, so isn't perfect. I'll get some pics up this week of each wheel and close ups of the front bumper & side steps so nobody will be walking into any surprises. Will see if I can borrow my mates DLSR at the weekend to record a few videos of the exhaust too.
-
I'm going to this, we're doing the full 4 days, I will drop in a few times on my travels no doubt.
-
Fantastic thread, thanks for posting! Nice touch with the DRLs on the front bumper

Changed my badges over before Japfest last weekend, here's a comparison of old vs new. On the new set I applied some sealant this time round, so shall see how long these ones last.

Not sure if this link is a repost but there's a few of your Zeds pictured in this Speedhunters article http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/05/under-siege-supercars-storm-the-castle

Glad it worked out good in the end buddy, I'm liking the sound of this ECUTech software too, might have to give it a go -
Took delivery today, first impressions mixed

Personally I love the seats, not very supportive I agree, but very comfy. My other car has hugging Brides so the more like a sofa the better for me. Agree with you on the steering, I really hated it at first, felt so numb and disconnected. Grown to like it over time, doesn't have much, well any 'feel' so to speak but it is accurate when you need it to be. As you say, it's a lot of car for the money, makes the switch from lazy morning commuter to B road blaster very well and is highly capable when pressing on. My project thread is pretty similar to this in terms of niggles at the start of ownership, as I racked up the miles and made a few changes got bits & bobs sorted so I'm happier with the car. Not done any mods to it for over a year now, that's gotta be a record for me haha
