  1. I'll play! Honda MT50 Yamaha RS100 Yamaha RD125LC Kawasaki KE125 Yamaha FZR400RR Yamaha Thundercat Honda Fireblade 954 Ducati 750SS Ducati 749s Current bike Ducati Monster S2R1000. And quite a few crossers and enduro bikes along the way! I have my eye on the Ducati Diavel as my next bike.
  2. Yeah, the poppers are a good fit. I couldnt even close the bonnet at all. There was a good 10-15mm gap between panel and plastic radiator cover. The boonet was bouncing on the top of the anodised panel when trying to close it. Shame, cuz it looks really good!
  3. Anybody else have the V2 bumper and fitting issues with this panel? Where the panel sits on the front the V2 is "lipped" upwards so the anodised panel raises toward the engine bay.No chance of closing the bonnet! I have tried slipping it under the lip of the bumper which makes it sit flat but obviously it doesnt look quite as good. I also need to try to move the latch as described above. If I get no joy,the panel will be up for grabs.
  4. Get out clauses for the insurance scumpanies!
  5. And declaring mods doesnt mean that they are actually covered! Admiral want an extra £25 to cover mods up to 10% of value of car or £500 whichever is less. Speak to a specialist like Prestige if you want a policy to cover your mods. You will pay more but as has been said before,no point having insurance if you arent covered.
  6. Drive as fast as you can = Less time on the road, so you're saving fuel!! Think thats right?
  7. Not directed at you mate. I think when you find THE car the tax issue becomes irrelevent anyway. Good luck with the search.
  8. Dont get all the fuss about paying a little extra tax. Works out less than £4 extra a week over the year!!
  9. "Children should be seen and not heard" Very Victorian attitude and explains my lack out assertiveness in adult life,T
  10. Yep I watched this as I have just finished reading Pompeii by Robert Harris, which is a novel but contains factual references to the eruption and it's effects This programme didn't tell me anything new! Lame! Not to mention the woman who presented it and the odd way she addressed someone to the side of the camera! Nay,nay and thrice nay! (some of you may get this?)

  12. I actually did "laugh out loud" at the last one!
  13. Hi mate, Abbey Motorsport,a trader on here, can put a package together.
  14. Christ I thought it was another bloody plumbing thread!
  15. Well done mate! I can tell by the tone of your post that you are well cuffed with it
  16. Ekona the boiler quoted for was a Worcester 34CDi. Read the original post. I know there are cheaper Worcesters but this is higher end boiler. But I do agree with your comments to Stuarty.
  17. If he did a thorough job i.e. Powerflushed the system, commisioned the boiler properly, informed Gas Safe of the installation and he was indeed a Gas Safe Registered installer, then I'd say that wasn't over the top if thats what he had quoted, but then we are back to the "what if it had taken 10 hours to fit" question. I assume that included vat? So 20% for the government.
  18. What other mods would be required? After seeing the mind boggling list of parts posted up by Octet,I think it would be a great idea for someone to put a package together for people like me who wouldn't have a clue where to start. Would full fitting instructions be included? How many hours would it take a skilled mechanic to fit? I have the Rev up model
  19. £1300?? are you taking the p#ss??? The boiler alone is over a grand, and yes that is trade price. Add the flue, programmer, thermostats, Magnaclean, pipe and fittings, cleansing agent, corrosion inhibtor, oh and if it's all right with you lot some labour, you can see that £1300 or even £1800 is a joke. I'd say to the OP that, that price is fair, especially for the Worcester which is the one I'd recommend. Make sure a Powerflush is done before fitting the new boiler, which should be included in the price. Shame I don't live near you. Ricey and Ekona must have the same opinion as Stuarty, that tradesmen don't deserve to earn a living!
  20. Pretty sure you don't need the comma after grammar. Sorry but you're wrong. I stand corrected.
  21. +1 on this When my 350 grows up it wants to be that 370
  22. What have you got in mind? I would personally like to see more nismo rear spats combined with the TS carbon diffuser look. Something I've always wanted to make. Well that sounds interesting. I have spats waitng to be fitted but was thinking about a diffuser as well. Would you be making the diffuser yourself as i know the originals are big bucks. I also have a Strosek rear spolier to be fitted but was hoping that the ali brackets could be ditched and the spoiler mounted in a different way as I would like it mounted lower to the boot lid. I am sure a man of your abilities could come up with something? Obviously cost of all this would be the deciding factor. Oh and my V2 front end has the hairline cracks that they are infamous for so that would need sorting too!
  23. Nothing wrong with having a conscience mate Do what you feel is right for you And I agree with Bulletmagnet about cruelty in nature. Some of the most distressing scenes on tv recentely was a pack of wolves bringing down a buffalo.Cant imagine that was a quick death for the poor beast.Eaten alive more or less
