  5. Well that's it then, Zed meet Madjeski! How does Tuesday 10th sound?!
  6. Looking forward to seeing the pics I cant actually make the next Jap Meeting (17th) but happy to do a Zed only meet most week nights.
  7. Small world, as I swear I see you almost every morning! I live in central Reading but work in Grazeley (when I am in the office that is), so I turn down Mereoak Lane which I assume is your route up to the A33 and Medejski. Give me a flash next time ( and please refrain from the inevitable puns fellow forum goers!) Yep that is my exact route! What colour is yours? Cant seem to recall seeing another Zed on my Journey in but ill keep my eyes peeled! Small world, as I swear I see you almost every morning! I live in central Reading but work in Grazeley (when I am in the office that is), so I turn down Mereoak Lane which I assume is your route up to the A33 and Medejski. Give me a flash next time ( and please refrain from the inevitable puns fellow forum goers!) I also work in green park! Definitely a small world. This is crazy, all the other cars i have owned all the forum members were miles away. What office are you in? I work for Symantec.
  8. Welcome! Where abouts in Reading are you from?! I am from Burghfield but work at Green Park so you may have seen me around! As for Madjeski Jap meets yes they are still on, I am the only 350z there though
  9. Only just got round to getting this photo off my mate. We were in a silver Civic, i gave you a wave! Adam
  10. 8k will get you a very decent 280 zed. Price wise you will pay for more for black/blue, it's the only car I have actually noticed this on. My friends got an EP3, we recently went to Le Mans in it. Was an absolute blast and the engine is awesome. He always says the Zed is more grown up and a nice place to be all the time where as he gets tired of the civic sometimes, especially on the motorway.

    Price

What car says: Dealer - £8200 Private - £8000 Azure/Black go for it, any other colour stick to your original offer/walk away as you can find a cheaper one else where!

    Price

If its an Azure/Black then i think the price is about right with renewed tax. If its any other colour its over priced by about a grand. Are the 18's Rays?
  13. Welcome! Where about's in Reading are you based? My commute takes me to Green Park so you may see me around
  14. Try the link above ^^^^^^^^^^ No need to waste your hard earned cash on a new CV joint

    Few Small Bits

Even with the remote you can't turn the screen off unfortunately. Useless design!
  16. Once again the somewhat elitist view this forum has of the car rears its head ........... First things first - its a fairly unstressed 3.5 litre N/A Nissan, not a turbocharged Maserati - theres absolutely no reason to be scared of 03/04 imports because they are 18 months older than an 06, likewise mileage over 100K shouldnt really put you off. Just do the usual checks and make sure theres nothing obvious thats wrong. The clutch is probably more likely to have been changed on a 100K car than a 50K one, if it hasnt the best way to see if its slipping is to put the car in 6th at lowish revs while moving (up a hill is ideal) and then floor it, if the revs rise out of sync with acceleration the clutch is slipping. An S2K is a better car for 100% maximum attack driving, but in pretty much every other respects its inferior and in some its a totally different prospect, tbh thats pretty rubbish advice IMO, if you want a 350 then buy a 350. Funnily enough a clutch replacement is fairly similar in cost on an S2K too, imagine that Do you believe buying a car right at the bottom end of the market is a good idea no matter what the car is? To give this some perspective, Cat C (Still damaged) 350z's sell for around the 4k mark so there has to be something odd going on if a "perfectly working" one sells for near that. The S2K comment was just my opinion of what i would be buying for that budget. As it would give you enough to be a bit more picky with which one you buy. Yes the S2k is an inferior car but its right in the middle of his budget and the chance of getting a lemon is a lot lower. Good luck to the OP with what ever he chooses to do
  17. Personally i wouldnt be touching a Zed thats between 4-5k. A clutch/flywheel change could cost you a quarter of the purchase price at that value. If i was in the market for a 2 seater sports car and had between 4-5k i would get an S2000. Probably not what you want to hear but i dont want you buying a lemon
  18. Welcome! Isnt the 06 coupe manual?! Or am i missing something. If you can afford to take some time off work i would come over to the UK and import one yourself. You will save around 2k on the car cost, obviously you will need to spend some coming over here and importing the car but 2k goes a long way! Good luck
  19. Quick video i took after our covert operation down to the Mulsanne straight after hours
  20. PM me too as I just got back from Houx!! Saw a red 04 and black 04 both in Houx and a blue one on its way to carrefour! Wasn't in my zed this year though, went in a silver type R. Awesome weekend!!'
  21. Do you have the pipe needed to connect to throttle body? Basically i need everything to make the standard airbox work as my car came with an induction kit already fitted and no standard parts
