  1. Had my first "ooh, thats a bit slidey" moment this morning, are these still good to go?
  2. Let me rephrase that then, OP, would you be happy to have them couriered to Aberdeen?
  3. I know its a longshot, but any idea how much these would cost to courier up to Aberdeen?
  4. Meh. 2 Hours of not an awful lot happenening - they got the franchise very wrong with die another day and its ridiculousness, but the Craig films have went too far the other way IMO - Bond films are supposed to be a bit camp, with silly gadgets, silly cars and silly plots - not a vehicle for people with turtlenecks and rimless glasses to waffle on about camera angles. As A kid I loved Bond - watched Goldeneye on tape (and played the game) far more than was healthy - can't imagine I would get as excited about a beardy bloke with a radio transmitter as I would with a guy driving a tank through St. Petersburg.

    Nismo exhaust

That got me too - my cousin loved it as a fort, I was most jealous.
  6. My nismo certainly does - moving off slowly in first it is really noticable, childish grin every time
  7. Would say HFCs - simply for the abilty to swan through a MOT without any hassle

    276 gains

With a popcharger, Motordyne plenum spacer, Berk HFCs and a Nismo exhaust, my 276 makes 289.5 after a remap.
  9. After all my mods but before my remap, the exhaust was sooty as anything, during mapping they showed me that it was running slightly lean - now it is sootier than ever and does an occasional fire fart when the pipes are hot
  10. After extiensive youtubing my mind was made up - HFC's and the Nismo exhaust is a match made in heaven - pretty similar to the normal Z noise, just a bit more of it - bellowy growl untill about 3500 rpm then it just starts shouting its way towards the horizon Keep meaning to sort a decent sound clip, had the go pro on the back, but not great quality...
  11. Ex employer now - no longer bleed for the big blue machine
  12. You Can: You can just see the skis in there - wouldn't like to have a passenger in there though - severe decapitation risk I would have though!
  13. Noo, a new one is always the answer. Next to a Zed at the lights today with the standard 'zorst, made me reliase how much I love the Nismo
  14. I have a non working passenger side one if that is any use? Still attached to the car at the moment, but should be replaced this weekend
  15. Call me a cynic, but this has a distinct whiff of a compo claim about it. Also, a grown woman with a "burny feeling"?
  16. Had a rental transit for sofa moving duties last week. I don't think either the gearbox or engine really liked my "white van man" driving style. Had a lot of fun taking it an early morning blast round the twisties - I imagine it was the first time this particular transit had been treated to the joys of heel-toeing
  17. I use a Gilette Fusion Power Stealth (mostly because of the awesome name) on my face when I need to look presentable - takes about 4 seconds and give a half decent result - fortunately I can get away with having a bit of face fungus on the go, so most of the manscaping is dealt with by a set of clippers.
  18. Picked mine up today - slightly gutted I didn't order more of them - for 13 quid it is a solid bit of kit - not going to bother a decent Hi-Fi system, but for a set of bedroom speakers, you couldn't want much more. Good shout on this one, expected to get rumbled and them to say there was a mistake until I actually had the box under my arm - chucked it in the boot of the Zed and drove off like a getaway driver
  19. You can indeed - although they need to go in from the front and be maneuvered carefully back - they are 178cm powder skis, so not exactly small either
  20. Pah, amateur 1 Bike (and wheels) Pair of skis Ski Boots Set of bike rollers 3 offshore bags of junk Xbox Rucksack Assorted other crap Me Was fun driving though, had to look through a bike wheel to see the passenger wing mirror EDIT - Nice strut brace
  21. Pistonheads, youtube and ebay - working the last week of my notice at this job before starting the new one - so not doing much of anything productive!
  22. Got my Berks on a couple of weeks ago now (along with some Nismo pipes ) - well worth the money, the car sounds absolutely lovely now. Of course, you cant just go putting HFCs on the stock exhaust, you need a full cat back as well for full on shouty Zed goodness
  23. GHIA????? How old are you?????? I'm 24 and still remember being run around in my mum's Escort Ghia estate, was brilliant, even had a turquoise (colour matched to the car, naturally) sunstrip
  24. Saw this on B3ta - think they lob the wrapper in the back of the van. More importantly, what type of johnny was used? I imagine an extra safe requires a higher inflation velocity than a pleasuremax for example
