    H&R springs

Anyone using these or got any info on them? I know they are of decent quality and alot of people use their stuff on VAG's etc. just haven't seen much about them on here. Cheers
  7. yeah thats true, but it helps with it being in that location with water splashing on it etc. I used to have an AEM CAI on my Type R, that was a dry flow filter, not oiled, but i ran a hydrosock over it to help protect it etc.
  8. looks like its a 2.5" inlet, possibly even 3". you could easily fit a large 7/8" k&N down there in the bumper to fill the vent. or keep it that size so its not completely hanging down getting filthy from everything that goes through the vent. is there a reason you want to change filter?
  9. :puke: MTFU maaaaaaaaan merry christmas, im happy youre happy, but at least pretend the beer, or your car, or the presents made you happy!! stop being a lady garden!!
  10. also local mate. West London, but always up at the GF's house in SW London.
  11. Mate I've got an LED head torch you could have had for free! keeps your hands free
  12. What size filter you after? And what size inlet?
  13. Looks like a K&N to me. But I'm sure if you wanted you could fit a much larger one/prettier one.
  14. How much? Looks a good CAI!! You thought about getting a hydrosock for the filter?
  15. I like that. Would look even better with a few slow mo drifting shots! Nice choice of music too, matches the editing well Disclaimer - I know nothing about photography/editing/filming, just thought they went well together

yeah ive already decided im keeping the Nismo, i might just sling on some decats
  18. sod that paying for things i do with my eyes shut. plus im quite ocd with my cars, so when im doing something i make sure its done properly. i worked in a dealership for 6 years and the 'that'll do' attitude is VERY common. aswel as claiming for work they dont do, not fitting parts etc etc. i will never take any of my cars to a dealership. Ive been to a few Independants though (because i didnt have the time to do it myself ) and standing there by your car whilst their working on it is fine, as you know the guys have a passion for what their doing. But, for me, the driveway is full of win!! get it up high and smash the work out. I done all the work on my Evo on the driveway - turbo, gearbox swap, clutch, timing belt, ayc bleed, suspension rebuild from knocking coilies + all servicing with only the best parts used), and my Type R - engine out, strip down, headgasket, stripped cylinder head, valve stem seals, all mods, all servicing etc. dont miss the general dealership work, but love working on my own and my mates cars.

cheers mate! the Evos been gone for about a year, but still missed sometimes, only because a diesel replaced it lol, now the Zeds here...
  20. Beavis - cheers for the pic mate! Nice and clean under there! Bakes100 - think decats are going to be on order ASAP!! Steve - doubt I'll b selling it tbh mate, seems a nice touch to the car and a good selling point for when the time comes. Risingpower - cheers for the info mate. I'll leave the Y pipe, and probably get hold of decats Anyone know the internal bore size? From the pic it looks approx 3"/2.75.
  21. Coming Round Your House FTW !!!! I'd be happy to help people out! All work carried out driveway styleee!!! Lol. Got some nice high axle stands to get under.
  22. I'm at work at the mo in the diesel so can't get under the zed to have a look so thought I'd ask a few questions about the Nismo system I've got fitted (recently bought the car so I'm a noob) What size bore is it? Is the Nismo a Y pipe back or centre pipe and back box? If it includes the ypipe, What size bore is this? And is it worth changing to the likes of a Stillen? Also anyone got any videos of a decatted Nismo?
