  1. A 6 month subscription of 100ml samples instead of 50ml.
  2. Yes, so long as you use EGP before the wax. Pretty much any wax will sit nicely on top of EGP. If it's gloss you're after, a proper deep, thorough polish will give better results than EGP though.
  3. 23rd March 2006. FWIW.
  4. If it's just condensation inside, remove them and leave them in the airing cupboard overnight to dry them out, then it's just a case of making sure they're sealed properly before refitting - no need to dismantle the units at all.
  5. Atkin Motor Engineers in Malton - drop Chris a message on here, Atkin666.
  6. Just seen Waxybox have posted this in various places regarding the club discounts, in case anyone missed it;
  7. It's okay, it doesn't work at the moment anyway.
  8. Well why didn't you say that before?
  9. I would like to accept this award on behalf of myself and Downhuman, who couldn't be here tonight because he's busy washing his car in the dark (possibly). Even I started off with a variation of that stuff - if I remember rightly it was the 2 step Megs 'kit' rather than the 3 step though. Then I discovered Polished Bliss. And I've been broke ever since. I'm fairly confident I've funded a fair portion of Clark's Porsche.
  10. Are you an elite member? I am indeed.
  11. Edited because that itself has caught a few people out too.
  12. Just tried it and the usual forum discount doesn't work for me but they've been offering some new codes for free delivery so it may be something to do with that. Drop then an email about it - I would do it myself but I'm paid up for a couple more months yet so... I don't really care enough.
  13. I thought it was okay. The shampoo works really well, I found it quite sudsy myself. And as above, the tyre shine seems to differ greatly between tyre brands - more so than most others do actually. From previous experience, the Nanolex glass sealant is excellent, as all Nanolex products tend to be. The wheel cleaner was very good - needs to be diluted at least 2:1 to be wheel wax safe though. I was disappointed with the waterless blind test thing, I thought it was just terrible and most QD's would do a better job in it's place. Not tried the rest yet.
  14. Unless you use a water filter. Or alternatively, stock up on this if you're feeling flush; http://www.carpro.uk.com/spotless-water-spot-mineral-remover-500ml/
  15. Yes it is, they have upto 6 months to do you. Not according to the offical source: https://www.gov.uk/speeding-penalties I got flashed 3days ago... so technically if i dont recieve anything within 2weeks of the flash. I can disregard anything that comes through after? That is sweet! Just to pick up on this, it doesn't matter whether you receive a NIP after 14 days, or even not at all, the law states that a NIP must be issued within 14 days. There's no requirement for it to ever actually reach it's destination.
  16. You'll be better off polishing your car rather than your hand.
  17. Ah, you're one of those people then, Graeme?
  18. The Autoglym stuff works well enough, it's just not quite the "best". And I just like being awkward as much as anything.
  19. If your petrol is free, you should put it in the car's petrol tank rather than wiping it all over the paint. Autosmart Tardis is better, h'actually. Fact!
  20. You have to put a lot of heat into the glass to distort it, it's not really that easy to do if you pay attention to what you're doing. If you're using something like cerium oxide to polish out the scuffs it's hard work with a rotary, harder work with a DA and it'll kill you before you make any difference by hand. G4 use;
  21. If you mean abrasion holograms (as detailed above and what I would refer to as holograms) then you'll need to polish them out or fill them with a glaze if you don't fancy polishing. If you mean oil holograms (which I would simply call smearing, personally) it's likely to be from using too much wax - spread it as thin as you can, the old adage "less is more" applies to LSP's in general. Orange Crush itself isn't the issue, but if you're using too much of it could well be. If you're having trouble removing it then you're using too much, but a spritz of QD will help and should assist to remove the smearing you've (possibly) got too.
  22. This was discussed at work today; http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201402131769968/sort/default/usedcars/make/nissan/postcode/hu13ut/radius/1500/model/350_z/page/2/price-to/5500/quicksearch/true/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew?logcode=p Appreciate it's on 100,000 miles but have prices actually dropped that much or is it just that they don't actually know what they're selling?
  23. He's local, but I'm not sure exactly where - I've spotted him in Cottingham and Kingswood not too long ago.
