  1. Haha must be it Nah, sadly it's definitely fuelled up. It just seems a mystery to everyone!
  2. Hey guys, my Dad has a 2003 Nissan X Trail Sport. He's been having major problems with it for some time. When you start it up from cold, it works fine. However, if you stop, leave it for any more than a few minutes and then start it up, the engine keeps cutting out. It's been to various garages and the MAF sensor's been replaced and the fuel pump. None of them seem to be able to solve the problem. Would anyone have any ideas on what's up?
  3. That'll have to be discussed in her next performance review
  4. Decided to give the Zed a quick wash up at the garage. Had the girlfriend helping...she did a great job until she decided to give it a going over with a dirty microfibre cloth
  5. age is just a number though mate!
  6. Just to add that Vik and I live in the same wee village and I drove past her car the other week and slowed down to have a good look. It's in absolutely cracking condition…well worth travelling to have a look at
  7. Well I'm an old man at heart I guess….which has always helped me in business
  8. I agree on the 0-60 time, hence the reason I didn't discount the XK as too slow or "not any faster" than the Zed I've not really driven any other powerful cars so the numbers don't mean too much to me anyway!
  9. So, I'm always thinking ahead and although I've had my Zed less than a year (and love it) I'll probably be looking for something new in the next year or two. I absolutely love the look of the 06+ Jag XK...however, in terms of power it's roughly the same as the Zed (300bhp)..and has the same 0-60 time. However, while the Zed produces 260lbs/ft of torque, the XK produces 310. I guess what I'm wondering is, does the XK really feel any faster than Zeds? Also, anyone who's driven one, how did you find it?
  10. Welcome along mate! Your Zed can't be a "he" though!
  11. What I would say mate is, think carefully about whether sales is right for you. I did a sales focused role within Financial Services before moving in to training, and while I was very good at it, I did find it stressful. I know some people who are car salesmen and they say they're under a lot of pressure to perform. However, work hard and the rewards will definitely be there!
  12. I feel totally the same to be honest. For my next car I think I may look at a slightly older Jag XKR (Supercharged), seem to be able to get 06's with decent mileages for around 23k
  13. mmm…that's pretty cool actually
  14. I often use 5th at 30….if you want to accelerate there's still plenty of pull. This actually an interesting thread though, never thought there'd be such varied opinions
  15. Welcome mate...looks like a nice example! I got mine when I was 20 and got insured ok through admiral...anyway glad you got it sorted!
  16. Looking for some clear reflectors. Don't mind if OEM or not as long as they're decent quality - I'll be using them to make LED sidemarkers. Tried Tarmac but out of stock
  17. Just read your reply Zugara, cheers for the detailed guide - much appreciated I'm going to give this a bash asap
  18. Does it matter that my Zed is a facelift version (07) and his isn't?
  19. Hmmm…done a search but can't seem to find the one!
  20. Yeah I'll have to check…could be totally wrong but I think he said it's done about 20k
