    *STANCE*

Guys, sorry to revive an old thread but I've just had my car lowered and definitely feel it needs spacers! I was wondering, for those of you who have rays and have added spacers, how much has it affected the handling? I've searched but can't seem to find any threads on this topic
  2. I just did the same mate, look so much better
  3. Nice mate. How do you find the handling with the spacers on?
  4. Hey mate, welcome! I was 20 when I got my Zed and I got my insurance through Admiral for just over 2k which I don't think is bad at all! My advice would be to look around the Zeds for sale section here. I travelled all over the uk looking for the right Zed and after going through a whole load of duds came across the one I now own
  5. Mmm... Sounds brilliant. I'd love to have a nosey sometime! Either of you gents recommend any garages in Dundee? I've used Mark Valentine, a Nissan specialist before but have been trying to contact him for weeks and had no reply!
  6. Yeah that'll have been me mate coming back from looking at the exhaust
  7. Haha I know the feeling mate! I came to an agreement with the chap, so hopefully be able to get it fitted soon! It's a cobra sport - not nearly as nice as your invidious! Are you fitting yours yourself? D block it could have been me at half 3 mate, we're you in a zed?
  8. Hey mate, that was me! I was off to see a chap in the Ferry who also has a 350z as I'm looking to buy his exhaust. Hope the shopping was good!
  9. According to the Tarmac website, 1.2 inches front and rear
  10. Guys, how long roughly speaking would this job take (for someone who knows what they're doing)? Just so I know how much I'm roughly looming at for labour!
  11. Welcome along mate - get some pictures up!
  12. Hey guys, silly question but I really am clueless when it comes to things like this. My Zed is an 07 but a DE, late registered I found this kit with fascia and loom but it states 07 onwards http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2ec4a11b14 This one states 03-06 http://www.ebay.co.u...=item51a60ebfb1 What's confusing me is that while I understand the engines changed between 06 and 07 models, I didn't think the interiors did? Ie there is a prefacelift interior/stereo and then a facelift. Therefore I'd expect the options to be 03-05 and then 06+ Could someone help me out and confirm which of the above 2 I would need. Thanks in advance!
  13. Mate, do you need a camber kit? Also did you have your alignment checked afterwards?
  14. Thanks mate, your car looks awesome. How did you find the fitment?
  15. Hey Tarmac, have you got any more pictures of these a bit closer up? It doesn't cover any of the reflectors does it? Also, would you be able to supply a carbon fibre one of these?
  16. I don't know anything about this kind of thing….to me though that looks like a pretty impressive reaction from the Zed?
  17. Hey guys, I've been thinking about buying these http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/350z04e/50-3072 Buuuuuut, I started wondering how easy it would be to make my own. 50 quid seems a lot just for some LEDs and plastic! I was going to get these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-RING-LED-SMD-Car-Light-White-Xenon-BMW-Angel-Eyes-Headlight-Light-12v-/330778415158?pt=UK_Light_Bulbs&var=&hash=item4d03ee1036 and then fit them in to plastic casing Would anyone have any suggestions on where I could get plastic casing that would actually be suitable for such a thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  18. Looking good mate - hats off to you for washing her when it's so blooming cold!
  19. Cheers for the replies guys. I've also sent a couple of emails to find out how much it would be to have one hydrodipped with carbon fibre effect
  20. Awesome, are the wheel arch liner's just attached using the wee plastic clips that are dotted round the Zed?
  21. Hey guys, I'm probably going to buy these and was looking for some help. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/350z04e/50-3072 I'd want to wire them either to the side lights or main lights. I know that if I was to do it to the indicators that'd be really straight forward....how would I go about splicing in to the side light wire though from the opening under the existing Z emblem on the side? Sorry if this is a stupid question...I am the guy who took over an hour to change the battery last week though!
  22. I went from a 1.4l Fiat Bravo to the Zed and bought it in November, last year when the roads were generally very wet and slippery. As the guys have said before just don't floor it and you'll be fine. I made the mistake of going on to a dual carriage way and just slammed the accelerator down….the back end kicked out and I very nearly crashed in to the barrier. Had there been a car in the other lane I would have definitely taken it out. In a way I'm glad it happened because it's taught me to be careful when driving in the wet and *touch wood* it's never happened again. I did notice that when I changed my tyres (they were mixed when I bought it), I had much better grip. Save nailing it for nice dry days!
  23. Cheers guys, I'm from Dundee/Fife area but work in Edinburgh and Glasgow regularly. If anyone knows of any good places please let me know
