  1. very nice mate. Any chance you have a link to the led sidelights you got? Definitely one of the first things I want to change!
  2. I'm liking all these ball busting responses....cheers all
  3. Cheers for your input mate. Definitely nothing in writing, I was amazed at how little he asked about my Zed before agreeing a price for the trade in!
  4. Hi guys, so as some of you know I picked up my 370 last week and traded my 350 in. It was a young chap who dealt with the transaction and I know he was fairly inexperienced, albeit very friendly and helpful. Anyway, he never asked me how many keys I had for the 350 and we agreed a trade in price over the phone. When I went down and gave him the 1 key he was all taken aback and said he had based the valuation on the car having 2 keys. I know the 350 second key is in pieces somewhere in my parents house but I really don't have a clue where and won't have a chance to go through to theirs for ages. I told him I would look for the second and he said they'd hold out paying the cash back from the trade in until I knew whether i had the spare. I have all the paper work that states they are giving me £7900 cash back but I know he's going to try to knock that down when I say I don't have the second key. Do you think it's unfair for me to play the "you didn't tell me the valuation was based upon 2 keys/you never asked if it had keys" card and demand the full amount ??? Or do you think I should take a hit in the cash back? If the second option how much do you think is reasonable?
  5. Cracking pictures....a lot braver than me driving on a road like that in those conditions though!
  6. haha that's the beauty of having both in one picture! Thanks mate I thought that must be the case...cheers for confirming
  7. Haha Octet, I have spent far too much time in your thread! Your car looks absolutely superb mate...very jealous!
  8. Cheers guys....yes re the modding bug I think I am screwed. I ONLY want... New exhaust Wheels powder coated/painted anthracite Black fangs and wing mirrors Red calipers Let's see how long I can resist haha
  9. Thanks folks. Now I just need to stay off this forum to ensure I don't get the modding bug again
  10. Hey all, so after lusting after one ever since I got my 350, I'm now the proud owner of a fully loaded white 370z GT. I picked it up from Leeds yesterday and then drove the 222 miles back, so thought I'd share my initial thoughts The good bits *Looks - love it, aggressive and modern and I can honestly say the car's almost immaculate. *Interior - sat nav and sound system are great. Also the seats are much better in my opinion. On the way down in the 350, I had to stop 3 times because my back was so sore...I've always had trouble with this on even shortish drives (I sound old...I'm only 23...I just knackered my back at the gym when I was a lot younger). Anyway, I only made one quick stop on the journey home and my back was absolutely fine....in conclusion I find the 370 way more comfortable. *The handling feels very sharp and the steering much more responsive than the 350. *The synchro rev is a nice wee addition especially when driving in heavy traffic...it just makes everything seem so effortless. The not so good bits *I know it's well established but bloody hell the exhaust is crap. Start up sounds like you're in a 2L Diesel 4x4 or something....I'll have to get that sorted *I've also noticed that when I lean forward whilst belted in, the seat belt becomes slack and doesn't tighten itself as it should. Anyway ideas on how to sort this? Also, do the 09/59 models not have the ability to stream music from a phone? The wife seems to like her...always a plus haha
  11. Collecting the 370 on Saturday, probably pretty unrealistic to sell this now but if anyone's interested and could come quickly for it let me know. might as well just say as long as it's 7800 or more I' do for it as it'll a) save me petrol driving to Leeds and mean I know it's going to a good home
  12. oh my god I'm a ****...can't believe I didn't even think to check! Cheers for saving me a bomb Dblock
  13. Will the spacers fit the 370!? I thought they were different sizes??If so I'll definitely take them off as I'll be lowering the 370 and need spacers
  14. Hey mate, mine is for sale at the moment and well within your budget. A great deal to be had as I'm due to trade it in anyway in the next 2 weeks. If you have a moment check it out in the Zeds for sale section here
  15. Thanks, I'm going to miss them actually. It's a shame 370z's don't really have a suitable place for something similar
  16. Take a look at mine in the for sale section mate. I'm trading it in very soon so definitely open to offers.
  17. A quick mention....this does work but can sometimes take a good few tries. Also, it's easy for it to not work if there are transmitting devices (mobile phones etc) in/very near the car.
  18. Thanks guys...I'd love it if someone here took her off my hands to to she'll go to a good home!
  19. It's had 1 previous owner and then of course me. I'm no expert but I would guess that having it professionally polished would just about get rid of them but in my eyes would't be good enough so I'd looking to have it painted. It's worth mentioning if anyone would rather take it as is I'd happily knock the price down
  20. I'm in Edinburgh mate although frequently in Dundee too. Planning on collecting the 370 two weeks today at the latest.
  21. Hi everyone, so I've finally made the plunge and am moving over to a 370z. I've paid the deposit and have had a good price agreed for my 350 as a trade in. However, I thought I'd put an ad up here in case anyone is on the hunt for a great example and of course given there's a deadline on when I need to money for, let it go for a really good price. I can honestly say this car is a superb example, and I searched all over the UK before jumping at the chance to snap this one up. I get compliments on it just about every time I pull in to a petrol station. It's been a joy to own and I've never had any issues whatsoever. Firstly, some info Gunmetal Grey 350z GT 2007 (07 plate). The car is a late registered 06 model (297 bhp) Full GT Pack Heated leather seats (leather is almost immaculate) Bluetooth Cruise Control CD Player Forged Rays Mileage 60k MOT until November 2014 (passed first time with no advisories) Tax until April Has been serviced every year by either a Nissan dealer or Nissan specialist A few subtle mods K Sport Lowering Springs (can include originals for a small price) Spacers 25mm rear, 20mm front LED front markers LED side markers (can be easily removed if not to your taste) Carbon fibre stubby aerial (can swap back to original if you prefer) Price £8200 ono (open to sensible offers due to the short time scale) Overall the car is in absolutely fantastic condition. It does have the usual small stone chips on the front bumper, and some curbing on the wheels. Unfortunately the car was keyed very recently, the marks are very light and only noticeable if you're looking for them. They will be professionally before the sale, or if you'd rather take care of this yourself, I'd of course be happy to reflect this in the price! Any questions please just ask and I'd be more than happy to send more pictures over (I certainly have enough!) [
  22. Thanks for the responses guys. Yep I really don't want to take the springs or spacers off, simply due to time restraints. Also certainly don't want to have the alignment sorted. I think I'll just let them know and if it really fusses them offer to provide the original springs for them to swap themselves. I think they're probably going to put it to auction anyway so hopefully they won't care!
  23. Hey guys, so I've been talking to a dealer about purchasing a 370. I've managed to negotiate a good figure for my car as a trade in. They've asked me absolutely nothing about the condition of my 350....my question is though, should I draw their attention to the fact the car has been lowered, has spacers and LED front markers? I would have to pay someone to swap the springs over and I really don't have the time to do the spacers myself either. I'm not sure that your average dealer would notice compared to a stock set up. I understand this may be a silly question but I just can't be bothered with the hassle of removing the few small mods, even if I could sell them on.
