  1. A lot of it comes down to learning how to drive the new car. When I went from a 350 to an s2000 I had the same concerns. The 350s v6 allows you to become a lazy driver, there is always power and torque in most gears at most speeds, if I try and accelerate from lower speeds in 4/5/6th gear in the honda it's pretty unimpressive. The 350 on the other hand, did it with relative ease
  2. Received my custom stickers for my cenTre caps And fitted
  3. Cheers guys, Neil, the contrast doesn't look as extreme in the flesh. The pictures are taken on an iphone and it doesn't seem to pick the black up as well. I've ordered a low level spoiler aswell, hopefully be with me by the end of the week
  4. I went for white in the end. Pics below. They're only quick pictures as it started raining as I was finishing up fitting them
  5. New customers at William hill online can get 4/1 on messi to score at anytime in tonight's game according to a link that comes up on my facebook
  6. That is very cheap mate. Make sure you check it's not a cat c/d. I would expect it to be only slightly cheaper without the turbo
  7. Which one? Is it on the s2ki forum? I really don't like the polished lip. It's a little too bling for my liking. I've never really been a fan of polished bits on cars
  8. It's different to the zed. A lot more ASBO. The temptation to hoon it everywhere is also there with the s2000. I didn't find that with the zed. Think it's the vtec. Guys, I'll be taking the wheels for a refurb this week so need to decide on the colour, white, matte black or gunmetal. Any more opinions? And any photo shops welcome
  9. Lamborghini aventador. Saw one drive past once. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up
  10. One from the ace cafe meet this weekend, not taken by me, courtesy of MInvo of the s2000 forum.
  11. Its similar to how i remember mine being. Yours is louder though. Its a bronze coloured thing at the back of the engine. Put the head of a screw driver on it and put your ear on the other end. That should help pinpoint it. Also the pipe should pulse slightly as well
  12. Fuel damper! thats what i meant
  13. Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator. Mine did it when I had it, wasn't as loud as yours from what I remember but it is nothing to worry about. I like to call it caranoia. You should try it with a honda
  14. I bought my caliper paint from these guys http://www.brake-caliper-painting.com if your going down the diy route. Mine was for standards brakes on my s2000 though and not the lovely 350z brembos
  15. Congratulations Ian. I'll have my spare s2000 rocker cover by next week, fingers crossed so il drop you a pm when I have it and sort something out with you.
  16. Birds are just *******. It's one of those things you just have to deal with. I parked in billingsgate fish market one day. A hot summers day mind. In the middle, nowhere near a perch. I returned to the car and it looked like it had snowed. I ran a pigeon over at work the day before. I think the seagulls had got together and plotted revenge on me. Nice and baked on when I got back to the car and full of shells and fish bones. Bastards, all of them!
  17. Ian why didn't you put a before and after shot on there. It would show how impressive a job you've done
  18. Looked good today mate, much prefer it with less orange
  19. Like this mate The middle bit probably wouldn't need that much attention as it's hidden all the time anyway
  20. Meanwhile, near an unknown Somali pirate controlled island, somewhere in the Atlantic.......
  21. I'll have a spare s2000 rocker cover soon mate, may be worth having a look at them aswell as the s2000 paint is @*!# and eventually starts peeling. May well be worth a look for you?
  22. Apparently plenums aren't the only things he will polish
  23. Front calipers painted, rears to follow next week, car needs a clean
  24. I had tein s tech on mine. The drop was spot on as far as I was concerned but then I'm not into stupidly low cars. Springs for show, coilovers for go is a pretty good way of looking at it. Click my sig and there are before and after pictures where the teins were fitted. They were done at the same time as spacers so bare that in mind.
