Id be looking at going all one colour on the wheels if it was me, otherwise its looking awesome mate
  4. Its a takeda intake from tarmacsportz on here.
  5. Click my sig and go to page 6
  6. Gold is one colour I'm really not feeling on a black car. I'd consider a Matt bronze but I'm not a fan of gold. Anyone bored then?
  7. Guys, if anyone is bored tonight or over the weekend, would you mind doing me a quick photoshop of the wheels please. The 3 colours I'm after are either White Satin black Gun metal No polished lip, just all one colour If anyone fancies trying something "out there" aswell then knock your selfs out. Orange, pink keyser green, I'm open to ideas. Cheers guys
  8. Love the look of your car mate. Those wheels really set it off. What's the plans then? Go on, tell us. I get enough of those cryptic comments on face book statuses, normally by women. You've not had the op have you??
  9. I will probably take you up on that offer rich, always fancied having a go on a DA polisher. I will let you know, cheers mate. Geo is going to be done soon. I don't drive it all that much so it's ok for now. Although to be honest I can't say it feels like it needs doing, it all seems quite planted and doesn't feel like it wants to let go at any point. Cheers for the positive feedback guys.
  10. Oh, and any budding detainers in the essex area want something to practice on let me know. The paint is terribly swirly.
  11. Will try my best mate. Hopefully I'll have made a decision on the wheels and had them refurbed by then as well

Why you selling it, and what's next? Who cut the vents in your bonnet, and how did they do it?
  14. Tarmac, no worries mate. They aren't the best quality pictures though as they were taken on my phone. I'm sure I can get dan to bring his camera to the essex meet in May we can get you some better ones. Re the brace, my engine bay as you can see is not the nicest cosmetically and if I'm honest I'll probably be going green with the rocker cover and calipers so red won't go. Thanks for the offer though. Will the j's spoiler be the single blade one or the one with the smaller second blade at the rear? If it's the smaller ill happily accept a deal on one of those. I'm hoping it's this one In regards to the comparison to the 350. The power delivery is completely different. It's all 5800 up on the honda. Whereas the 350 as you all know has this big lump of power readily available most of the time. You need to drive the s2000 properly to get the best out of it, dropping gears etc whereas you could be lazy with the 350. The vtec is addictive. I'm like a child if I'm coming up to a tunnel with no cameras in.
  15. as some of you know I sold my 350z last year in order to buy an s2000 and put some money aside. Well it didn't quite work out as planned and the engine blew up in the s2000 on my way home from collecting it. (I'm not wanting the thread to go along the lines of go round with a bat etc. it's being sorted legally and civilly) Believed fault with the oil system. Nothing I could have done to prevent it. Was a ticking time bomb but you live and learn. Anyways, after a new engine i finally got it home Here is how it stood I fitted a k&n induction kit and new pads and discs Picked up some new wheels, not sure on the colour and polished lip at the time, still not sure now Desperatly in need of lowering I got myself some springs and down she went En fitted some tarmac side diffusers and an apr splitter (these aren't fitted as such so I had to drill holes etc and have custom brackets fabricated) So as it stands now Now, I'm happy with where it is now. Thinking a BGW or a low level OEM spoiler. And refurb ing the wheels satin black, or going the complete other way and going for white?
  16. Potentially ignorant post here but is the control while drifting not mainly down to the throttle control and steering more than grip provided by the tyres. Ie controlled skidding
  17. And with the mpss, it's the all round performance that is the key. The falkens were switchy as **** in the wet. The mpss were planted all the time.
  18. As in the ad08? They will be going on my s2000.
  19. That's not what's being said though is it. People are merely making the point that tyres are not an area of the car you should scrimp on. My point being it could cost more in the long run. The difference I'm talking about was between replacing the falken 452s that were already on the car or £200 more for a set I got mpss, £50 a wheel, and getting what are arguably one of the best tyres available. I'm sure in side by side tests the mpss would outstop and out grip the falkens. Even if they only stop you a foot shorter that is potentially £200 well spent.
  20. It's an extra £200 that could mean the difference between stopping or not. You'll be looking at double that minimum if you rear end someone as the budgets won't stop you in time. If I could get mpss for the s2000 I'd have them all day long. Was amazing on my 350. It's only when you swap from @*!# TIRES, just for you dan, to good ones that you realise how @*!# the previous ones were
  21. Some ideas here. http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/561386-car-wont-start-when-warm/ I typed s2000 won't start when warm/hot into google and got loads of hits
  22. I'll sort something. Especially now the weather is improving.
  23. Fair enough. Don't get on here much anymore so missed it the first time, and the second.
  24. In the initial comic strip sequence, took me ages to pause it at the right place
