Mainly as a daily but want lots of room to chuck stuff in for say trip to lakes, Scotland etc. Also would like to do some off roading, that would be cool.

Well brother in law's wife is up the duff so this will be the acid test in 6 months time. See if the smell of the new borne trigger the baby making hormones/feelings in the wife (insert scared face here).

I'm up in Scotty at the mo and I've seen loads of defenders, they obviously get a good work out up here, not driven one yet but peered into a few, they look, well, very basic inside and that driving position seems very compact! Definitely need to test drive a few options, probably not the tank though, although would be a sweet test drive.
