Bored of the scirrocco and have two other impractical cars, thinking nice big 4 x 4, consider anything any age, not too new as dont want to lose too much on depreciation. Any recommendations? My mate as a 20 year old Honda CRV that just keeps on going and cost sweet FA to keep running. Tempted just for the reliability element.

Definitely not me! I don't get the fuss, I really don't. Like when you go round someone's house who's just had a baby, and they're all like "Ahh, do you want to hold our baby?". When I reply that I'm okay, they normally go "Oh go on, it's okay, you won't hurt the little one, I'll show you how to hold properly!" as if I'm secretly petrified that I'll drop the slug or something. No, I'm perfectly capable of holding the product of his feeble man-paste and her lack of leg-closing ability, I just really don't feel the urge to thanks. I've sold no such thing! My money's on Dan! He's trying to convince us he doesn't like babies, but I can just tell he's one of those men that goes all gooey when he's handed his first-born baby girl. We'll have to suffer endless threads about how the baby did its first burp today and it's first solid poo! She'll be his little princess and he'll go round baby-proofing the world for her. Haha! that made me laugh, I can understand that. Our middle two were fine, the first and last to be born were nightmares, my wife especially, never had a decent nights sleep for the first 3 years!! All good fun! Don't feel pressured to have children if you don't want them. Either way its entirely your choice, nobody else's. I can sympathise with the costs involved these days, what with all the peer pressure they get at school to have the latest sports gear, iphones etc. Wasnt like that for us as we lived in the middle of nowhere, skint, as I only worked a 3 day week by choice, but it was the happiest time of our lives. Following on from TT's thread and comments made..... So nearly all of our friends are having/had kids now and me & the Mrs are like, sh1t, is there something wrong with us for not having them. I understand the love thing and that you'll never love anyone like your own kids yada yada. I teach kids at Tae Kwondo and I enjoy it, sometimes it's frustrating but to see them achieve stuff is rewarding. It's also nice that they go home at the end of class People must have kids and think, christ what have I done, right? Or is that not the PC thing to admit to? Is it for some people, and no offence to anyone, just they feel they have to? That they've run out of achievements in life? I'm just starting to now question myself and think is there something wrong with me for not wanting kids. Everyone who has them are all like the walking dead.
