Years ago I went to a christmas party, I had one glass of wine very early and then nothing after that and ate a 3 course meal, I was well clear. Drove home with wife (then girlfriend), not going too fast until some dusch was right up my @rse so i sped up, stayed within the speed limits (ish) only after about 2 miles for that dusch to be the police, queu the blue lights. Absolutely shat myself, one for thinking I was going to get done for speeding and then being convinced I was over the limit. Anyway, coppers asked if I had been on an advanced driving course as they couldnt keep up (lol) I'm not that great a driver - and then asked if I'd had a drink, I said yes so they breathalyzed me. Then, told me I'd blown it!! (Now having a heart attack). Then said no actually blown up the machine, it had been faulty all night and was now broken. Heart rate still at about 250 bpm. Told me to get on my way and drive a bit slower lol. I love Norfolk plods.

I have a similar problem at the moment but frustratingly the offender is parking right opposite my front door so if I park outside my front door then I block the road. So they're on a public road but are restricting the use of our land.

People do stupid things, that's life, no fathoming sometimes but also lots of psychological stuff behind the scenes too for some people. Whilst other only have one or two brain cells. Not making excuses but life is too complicated for the answers to be found on an internet car forum.

So my mate has just bought a beamer 530d 2012 model, quite nice. He's got the BMW assist included, sounds really good, last week, one of the suspension arms/balloon went wrong, they sent out a new X5, took his away repaired it and brought it back and he had the X5 for a weekend trip. It got me thinking are there any other policies you can take out like this, I mean AA, RAC et al all do onwards trip cover but I'm not sure they take your car away, whilst dropping of an emergency vehicle for you to use.
