  1. You have all been successfully trolled. Thread is not for real
  2. Small thing.. but "CEL light" as a phrase is really annoying me I'm sensitive like that. Surely it's either a "CE light" or just a "CEL". You're all writing "check engine light light". Grrr. Sorry,
  3. I think he means they wanted 60 quid just for the job. IE 60 quid PLUS the cost of the tyres. I'd expect to pay 20 a corner for fitting and balancing of tyres to alloys and on to car from an average place. I pay 10-15 but I know the owner of a shop for 15 years
  4. The economy is about what I get anyway. Disconnect the lambda sensor and if economy doesn't change at all then it could be an issue: The car could be running rich. A dyno run would also give some answers. Not the easiest of things to work out without a garage to assist though
  5. OUCH. No, not me. Shame it's a non GT auto. Literally nothing I can think of scounging off of that
  6. Because a fault is stored and needs wiping. It's stored to EPROM or similar (like mileage) so isn't wiped on battery drain.

    17 JDM wheels

You could always go for these: 18 UK wheels with tyres pre fitted with plenty of life left... Cheaper than 17 JDM alloys only and then a new set of rubbers; for sure. FWIW if you do go 17 though; I've got two spare 225/45 17 Vredestein Wintrac Xtremes with more than 7mm tread left. Will let them go for 200 the pair (were 180 each new) Let me know if any interest.

    17 JDM wheels

Mine will be for sale.. In April Sorry. I know how non helpful that is. Hang in there. I managed to find a set on here in the end.
  9. Mine was inbetween tax and sorn for 2 occasions of 5-6 months each and in both cases nothing happened. You're very unlikely to get anything come through: But it is a possibility I suppose..
  10. LOL. I missed the word "forum" Bwahaha Fail. fail. fail. Been a long day.
  11. Budget? A great "bridge camera" capable of some superb results is the Sony NEX-5a. Whilst technically not a DSLR as a starter camera if it's in price range would be well worth it. Otherwise; tried and tested but the Canon 600D is a superb value piece of kit now: And maybe spend a bit extra on a Sigma 17-100 lens or similar.

    Lack of grip...

+1. But mine wears winter rubber so it will never have any issues getting out of my street etc. Just tek it easy roger!
  13. The light was VERY low; I could have shot with flash but chose not to. The only thing that would have helped is of course a tripod so that I could shoot on a longer shutter speed. Unfortunately the meet was a bit impromtu so I didn't have any other gear with me. I'm not sure they are "very" grainy. There is some noise evident in some pics. But not extreme. But clearly you are the expert
  14. I just ordered these... Rationale being they're cheap: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0784998808
  15. Found a T20 version: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-15-LED-315 ... 4839e6239b Do I really need red ones? Surely the cluster is red so the light will be red anyway?
  16. I paid £7 for AA from quidco a few months ago NB. wlmg offer free RAC on a P2 or P3 service
  17. LOL Alex. I'd love to: But I've spent quite enough money with you today. Dave
  18. 1. To change the rear tail light bulb over (NOT brake.. just the normal tail light: I believe they are two different bulbs) what do I do? Can it be accessed from the boot with removing trim etc or is it a bumper off and cluster out job? I bet there's a how-to on here but I'm rubbish at the search function in this site.. 2. I'd like to avoid having to do this again so will buy a set and do both sides. Is going for LEDs any good on this model? For example: http://www.hq-auto-lighting.co.uk/18-fl ... te-or-red/ What I mean by that is; Do I need cancellers etc to avoid dash codes or will they be OK? If any issue then perhaps a specific supplier you know of that supply a good unit? If it's a major pain I might just buy new clusters completely The rears have condensation issues anyway... Cheers Dave
  19. Very nice car.. I've been considering one in M guise for quite some time. I'd have gone coupe rather than roadster but I suppose the hard top makes up for it If it's on runflats, get them off asap. All your woes will be resolved. They are TERRIBLE for tramlining and ride harshness...
  20. Apols for duplicate thread... site was a bit slow earlier and when I hit send nothing happened. page timed out. So I re-requested submit. Apparently the submit worked but the redirect back to the topic didn't Thanks for the kind words. I used a Canon 450d with a Sigma is 18-200 lens ...
  21. I can't disagree, personally. But the two there today are certainly more attractive than in standard trim. For me the 1M was something I very very nearly placed a deposit for last year. In the end eco climate and fear of depreciation if it was reviewed badly swayed me away from it.. Won't know until mid next year whether I was right or wrong. But what's done is done I'm enjoying the zed in the mean time ..
  22. Hi, As a few of you know I'm admin of a medium ish enthusiast forum for NW London - mostly european metal (in fact I'm the exception really) mind: http://forum.EvoTechnik.net. Well we met up for a "close of season" photoshoot today. Pics below. Good amount of zed porn from the ginger mobile :) Hope you approve..
