  1. Haven't decided yet. Might just order whatever Alex has also due to service / ease Really haven't gotten that close to a decision so far!
  2. £/performance. I can't see justification to the extra outlay. Nor have I the opportunity to speak to someone who has had both on this car and can justify on merit one system or the other. As there are no negative reviews that I've been pointed to for the cheaper option I see no reason to spend more. Money is an object.
  3. What is in the 500 dollar master kit? Everything I need? More? Less? I'm looking for a description of what is included and can't find it..
  4. Sarnie knows But the fact is this. If you could get the car you wanted off autotrader for the price you've decided is fair based on trade values and a private value not taking options into account: You would have. But now you are here telling us what our cars are worth: So you can't have had any success so far eh? But if you pick up a 50k mileage non declared UK GT car for 4700 then congratulations You would usually expect to pay a slight premium for a known member car as it is likely to be in superb condition and very well documented to compare to your average dealer. Furthermore the honesty you'll get here means chances of getting stung down the line are slashed. "You", however, seem to think enthusiast forum means bottom line price? Good luck with the purchase anyway. I'd be inclined to sell mine for the right money, but I get the impression it'd be roughly double what you think is fair Dave
  5. Not just back ache. After about 15 minutes all of the blood on my body was at the top of my skull. My legs were over the back of the seat and all of my weight was more or less on my neck. It took me about 2 hours to recover, felt really really green for quite a while..
  6. I'll definitely go whiteline. Better than OEM but not as silly on the prices. My suspension was pretty bad when I got the car and worse after 6 months of abuse. I'm sure whatever I go will be such a massive improvement.. Do they sell online at all? I would like to price everything up and see where I stand Cheers Dave
  7. Alex saved the day. The issue was down to the garage, not alex. Car is back now and is superb compared to before. Can't believe I didn't take the plunge earlier really Thanks very much ZMANALEX For responding and teaching the mechanic how to fit a clutch basically heh. For what it's worth I didn't pay any more and he was apologetic when I collected the car. But it's so so so much better to drive now :)
  8. You're looking at about 8k for a 50k miler GT 53 mate. Parkers doesn't take the GT pack into consideration which adds 1500 or so to the price.
  9. Aaah, too much bush! What have I missed out? I thought I'd caught the 'extra' one when I remembered the banana arm ones (heh) I might as well get it all done. The whole lot is coming apart as I want ARB drop links done and shocks done so might as well catch everything.. I saw a debate about whiteline(/link.. or similar. Sorry, my memory.. heh) vs super pro. Not sure what way to go. Cost effectiveness is key as I'll not keep the car for too long: But I do want to enjoy it whilst she's mine, so...
  10. Sorry, second topic from me on this subject but first was some time ago. I am going to pursue a suspension refresh next month. So far I've lined up: - The compression arm bushes (replace with poly?) - ARB bushes (replace with poly) - ARB droplinks (Front and back) - Shocks And then once Rays and summer rubbers are back on: Full alignment Is that the whole list of things I should do? And can you recommend brands for each of the components I'm looking at? Don't want to spend too much, but appreciate it needs doing and quality components cost extra Cheers Dave
  11. ...... Expect imminent "my door card is broken" topic
  12. Hi Guys, Another day another 350z gremlin Problem I have is the window doesnt auto drop when the door opens? I think this is a long standing issue with the car.. going back to long before the motor was replaced by the dealer I bought the car from. There are one or two little chips in the glass synonymous with it being slammed into metal. I try and remember to drop it slightly before a passenger uses it. But I fear the worst happening. Is this another common one? Any ideas?
  13. Yep.. Don't worry about that folks Will update topic when I get the car back
  14. It's sorted now - cheers chaps :) Phew
  15. I've already PM'ed him. Mate I've dealt with him many many times by PM and also bought a good amount of gear, he'll certainly have no issue with me having the number. I've just never needed it thus far. I'm losing money per hour as the car is in at a garage up on a bay as we speak. So would appreciate an exception being made if you do have it Cheers Dave
  16. Hi, Can someone PM me asap his number Car is in garage right now and they insist some parts he sent are wrong ones (Not certain I buy that.. ):S Need to get it ironed out with him asap.. In a bit of grief right now. Dave
  17. Hmm... Happy Christmas all and happy new year for tomorrow, however: This snow: It makes the scrollbars go crazy and makes a horiz scrollbar appear intermittantly. Very annoying to be honest This is in FF, yet to test with IE or Chrome mind you. So when does the snow die. I hope we aren't stuck with it till Spring?
  18. Any signs that it has been clocked back and actually has more mileage. That's all. It should be PERFECT inside. Perfect. Not a crease in the leather or nick in the gear shift. Sounds like a good deal. If it checks out then goo for it And congrats.
  19. winter tyres + 2nd gear pull away = no worries
  20. Mega

    Alfa 4C

It'll be worth 25 after less than a year. At which point it becomes a very very interesting proposition.
