Thanks mate. While I'm in the thread of Mod's. Is your CF front lip, a cover like I had on my 350z, if so, is it an easy and good fit, and where did you get it? Its wrapping - see here for the fitting of that and the exhaust: viewtopic.php?f=103&t=31681&hilit=wrapping OMG, that is chalk and cheese between the stock and the stillen in that clip mate, and I can only imagine it sounds sooooooo much better in RL!! The CF wrap looks good too. Didn't know you had the back done too, but seen that part available. Looks good. Edgy and different without taking the car outside the boundaries of stock looks(which I love)!!

I'm a real jap car fan. With the exception of my first car (Fiat Stillo) which I used to bolster no claims. I've had Toyota, Honda and Nissan cars, the latter taking the gold for me. 350 and now 370 really have stuck their hand down the front of my trousers and had a good rummage around. Truly brilliant cars. I honestly dont think there is a car on the market that gives you so much performance and draws as much attention as the Z. I had a guy pull up at the pumps next to me yesterday, who after filling up, came over to tell me how great the car looked, and question me about........"what's the fastest you've had it?"........"what milage do you get?"..........."have you seen any others around, because this is the first one I've seen!".............then a really awkward silence while he walked round it expecting me to ask him if he wanted a burn in it (I'm assuming) LOL Great car, and I've yet to pass another Z driver who hasn't acknowledged me! I think that says something in itself!

Actually J, there was a 300zx down at Zedfest that was bright yellow, and as I "now recall" it was covered in wasps. Maybe it is a colour thing right enough pal, and yours is mighty bright indeed!! Surprised it wasn't covered in butterflies for funky power!

Visited my pal down in the country today, near, but not on a farm, and while the car was there, I couldn't help but notice the car got covered in flies!!!(Only unusual as his car was parked 4 yards from mine, and his was blissfully fly free)!!! I've already got all the jokes about, "well it is a nasty Jap car! Where else do you expect flies to settle!............wish I'd taken a picture to show.............is it the colour, or is there somthing in the wax that flies just love!!!?? Anyone else had this?

Not 100 pct on this one pal, as mine already had 8000 on the clock when I got her, but was told (by local garage owner)that if you try your best to keep her under 3 or 4 thousand revs till the oil is at a decent temp, and don't 'thrash' till 3 thousand at least on clock, all should be well. Modern engines though. I honestly rely on others words! I somtimes wish I'd joined the forces as an engineer!!!

Ok, next month, all looks good for my first mod. I'm finally getting shot of the yolk of Direct Line, and hopefully joining Admiral. Gonna make this as brief as possible, is there anyone on here, who can supply(Stillen Exhaust, possibly HFC's) fit, and do the ECU, all in one sitting, and if so, how long will it take, and how far in advance would I have to book. Just left the forces, so driving distance and staying away from home, is not a big issue for me. Spent 22 years doing exactly that, so am looking for a wee break/runout in the car, where she comes back sounding like a different breed!

Hope you get it sorted out pal. It may seem like an insignificant blemish to most car owners, but if its there, well, like most folk on here, you know its there, and it just wont do! Best of luck getting it sorted out!

Spotted on carrick road (ayr) at about 1600 today. Spotted me as quickly as I spotted you, and waved just as franticaly! Don't know if your a member, but nice to know your out there!

Couple of queries here that I hope you can help me with, and sorry if this has been covered before, but couldn't find what I was looking for! Will sticking on a new exhaust bugger up your warranty?, or is it a case of (like I'm guessing) they still have to honor the warranty if something unrelated to the new exhaust (i.e suspension or electrics) goes wrong? and What are Admiral like for mods? I'm moving my insurance next month and they are top of the list at the moment! Thanks in advance chaps!

Welcome to the forum buddy. Nothing wrong with being picky. I was looking for months for my first 350. As waltzinblack said, it's a real head turner, much more than than the beemer!!

WOW......Chippy, that first shot of Jersey looks like a windows wallpaper. Very nice!

Some people just dont fekn think!! Its almost as if they did it out of badness!! I always park as far away from supermarket entrances, etc as possible, but always seem to come out to someone parked next to me, with about 5 spaces either side of me, and just spotted my first door dimple the other day. Makes me wish my other car was challenger tank. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than giving payback with one of those!
