Louise I realise this advice is a bit too late to help now but it may be worth getting a dash cam for future peace of mind. I've just invested in one. Sounds like you got sideswiped, but I guess it would still have been useful in proving that you didn't change lane at the point of collision etc. This is the one I went for. Quite easy to fit with no wires showing and the picture is excellent. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nextbase-InCarCam-Professional-Video-Recorder-Black/dp/B00D8YP50A

I've lived in the countryside and I'm well aware that crows have a predatory side (as do many animals, acting on instinct, including dogs and cats) but yes I think it would be humane to try to find a solution that doesn't involve killing them if possible.
-
You could always give him your cat on a loaner to sort them out? Haha My fat, lazy, soft coward of a cat would be no match for a clever crow.
-
Good stuff. Hope that works. I can understand it must be a complete pain but hopefully you can sort it without bringing in the artillery.
-
Seems cruel to kill them just because they're annoying you. Please at least try a more humane solution before resorting to that.

Nice looking car. Gave me a wave going the other way but I was too slow to react and wave back. Sorry.

Nice.

Now sold pending payment. Mods please lock. Thank you.

Amazes me how anyone can drive with all the crap hanging down from the mirror!

If you have a read of this thread you'll see I managed to diagnose and clear a code for tbe cost of a cheap wifi dongle available on Amazon. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/92382-malfunction-light-and-missing-valve-caps/

When I occasionally watch those You Tube vids of various exotic cars starting up I'm always very impressed by the sound of Aston Martins.

I read some of the comments when you first posted the pictures. Still, it's good fun to imagine it was left like that. The pics of the other house you posted do tend to suggest it should have been in much worse condition on the outside.

Black Death Edition.

I too have had the same reaction to that request - something along the lines of "You want me to do what!? What's the point!?.....Errr...No!"

I am not liking the triple tip look at all.

Rotten luck Louise. No idea where you live, but if you're within reach I'd recommend TGM Sport Racing In Fleet Hampshire. They aren't cheap, but they do very good body work and painting. (Probably best not to follow the recommendation earlier in the thread to 'batter' your eyelashes. Could be very painful. )

Hi fella, I think sales of the convertible were very low so you might not have many to choose from. I'd suggest trying auto and manual before deciding though. Not many issues to be aware of on the 370 in general (search for steering lock failure) but I think a few people have had issues with the roof on the convertible. I'm sure owners will be along to give you some info shortly.

Good to hear that mate. I'm still fairly sure it's a two stage finish - perhaps the issue is with larger scale repairs. Either way, glad to hear you got it sorted.
-
Thanks. Not seen a picture but I reckon the darker wheels would look good with the blue. If you go for that shade my advice is to make sure the people you are taking the car to are able to do this two stage finish - perhaps email them a photo first. Some places won't touch this sort of work. It's also woth bearing in mind that if you do accidentally scrape the wheel you will probably need to get at least both wheels on the same side refurbished for a perfect match. I'm not tryng to put you off by the way - I love this colour on Z wheels, you just need to be aware that it does mean some additional hassle and expense if you ding them.
-
I'm not sure mate but I expect one of the traders on here could confirm for you.
-
My first 370 had the silver wheels. Despite the lack of a code, they are much easier to match than the dark wheels. You should be fine. It's the dark wheels that are very difficult to properly match. This is my car from the side on. You'll see that the front wheel, which has been refurbished, is slightly darker than the rear. Fortunately, in the flesh it's very difficult to see the difference, especially because these wheels look different shades at different angles anyway. The picture makes it look worse than it looks in person. At some stage, I'll probably get them both redone so they match exactly. This is a pre-refurb picture and you'll see that the angle makes the front wheel look darker even though it's exactly the same colour.
-
Don't think so as it's also a two stage finish.

Some really really nice pubs in Sussex - drive out their most weekends for lunch.
-
I really like Sussex. I think if we move out of this area at some point that will be the destination. My other half wants somewhere with a paddock, so she can have a horse. Good luck with your search.

You'll need deep pockets for Richmond. This whole area (SW London) is a really nice place to live but it's painfully expensive. Teddington is a nice place, as is Twickenham, both slightly cheaper than Richmond, but still silly money. Example - a bog standard three bed Victorian terraced house down our road (small gardens, no off street parking) would set you back about £700k. One went on sealed bids for £900k recently - bonkers. I'm not rich by the way, we are currently renting. I moved briefly to Warlingham about ten years ago. It's a nice enough place but I felt completely not at home there and quickly moved back to this area. That experience made me realise that you need to live somewhere that feels right to you. Difficult to define what 'right' is but I think you know it when you feel it.
