Was out for a drive in my GT4, passed you coming up the A5 just past J9 of the M1. Was about 8pm today (22/11/14) Also saw what looked like a S14 Silvia with no front bumper on the verge and a copper just in front

MX5 Build thread - No hairdressing equipment left in vehicle overnight

That was my other thought and I probably will get some at some point I also picked up R888 JPN for my 350 kinda like the idea of having similar plates. -

Toyed with the idea of changing the grill colour then came up with this. Wanted to do it purple but was too dark so you could see the lettering. Also won some money on my works lottery so treated myself to a new plate. This is what I was going for -
Dont the OEM rays have the 60 degree taper? I ran a set of TPi nuts with my GT4 Rays and they seated just fine. As for gold nuts - http://www.taperpro....k/2012/nuts.htm SixOneTwo stock them - http://shop.sixonetw...tpi/accessories Just be careful with them. They are lightweight alloy so no impact wrenches!! On black LMGT4's On stock GT4 Rays I wasnt bothered about gold nuts until I saw this! Epic. do like the look of these.. are these alloy longsh07? Yes, they are stupidly light. I've never had issues with them (bar the edges getting a little scratched when putting a socket on). Make sure you always use hand tools and not an impact wrench and you'll be fine

App radio or sat nav + headunit seperate?
longsh07 replied to -350-Ed-'s topic in I.C.E & Electronics
Do you think if I went down this route, I could be streaming music via bluetooth to a headunit, whilst simultaneously using the tomtom software on my phone as a sat nav? If you got a head unit capable or accepting streamed Bluetooth audio (not app radio) then no problem, that would work assuming opening tomtom doesn't stop it playing music? If you went down the app radio route you could play the audio and display the tomtom on phone and head unit but you couldn't swap music (only via the steering controls or opening the pioneer media player) and you couldn't interact with the tomtom app via the head unit as I don't think it's supported. -
App radio or sat nav + headunit seperate?
longsh07 replied to -350-Ed-'s topic in I.C.E & Electronics
Brilliant, cheers for that. Ok, 2 questions. Firstly, when using it in sat nav mode, do you find the screen is too low or does it not bother you? Secondly, if you have the pioneer unit showing your the map, can you have your phone showing music or does it not work like that? Yes, it is a bit low down but you get used to it. I tend to only glance at it now and again and drive off the voice guidance anyway so it's not a bit deal. No doesn't work like that. The phone doesn't display much at all really. (See my picture). Some apps are supported by the pioneer appradio app, these can be interacted with via touchscreen, any not supported are displayed on the head unit but you can interact with them using the head unit. It basically mirrors what's on the phone screen. -
Actually come to think of it he hits a hot dog cart or something at the beginning of this one.

Another article about him being banged up. http://www.carthrott...r-eight-months/ You seen the facebook screenshot..? Think they should take his license off him personally. (edit: ontop of the jail time)

Said pretty much exactly the same to a friend of mine only yesterday. I'd love to know just how much of that was actually strung together and what is clever editing. Also Ian, this demonstrates exactly what you were talking about. He falls apart as soon as the pressure is put on him.

I can only speak of the Miltek. You will find it very quiet. When I had mine fitted by Abbey I thought it was actually more quiet than the OEM unit. It was totally transformed though when a set of HFCs were fitted. Resulted in a lovely tone throughout the rev range, not at all "drony" and nice and quiet on motorway cruise. David Can also only speak for Milltek with HFC's. Absolutely love the sound it makes. Based on what I've read before (and is reflected in this thread) Milltek without HFC's is too quiet (much like OEM exhaust). Cobra without and Milltek with HFC's are roughly similar. Cobra with HFC's is pretty loud.

True, after all if Chris sold some and then the wheels fell off... I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Not had much trouble with my AppRadio once I swapped over to and iPhone. With Android it was a right royal PITA. I tend to use Waze and the Pioneer CarMediaPlayer to play music. Never had trouble doing both together but you cant see both screens at one. Connects via bluetooth really quick and never had any disconnections. Completely plug in and go which suites me just fine Steering wheel controlls work fine however for changing through songs. Volume only goes down for some reason regardless of which direction I press the switch and occasionally it will flick over to radio when using the steering wheel controls. Other than that its been pretty flawless, just dont upgrade to iOS8 as it doesnt support it yet. http://www.pioneer.e...pdate/page.html This is how I've got mine setup now minus the old 30pin iPod/iPhone connector. Edit: I actually have two AppRadio2s (SPA-DA100's) with the other in my MX5. If you watch the video in this post: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86529-mx5-build-thread-no-hairdressing-equipment-left-in-vehicle-overnight/page__st__40#entry1386448 I've got my phone hooked up to a WiFi OBD2 reader and it streams loads of info to the DashCommand app on my phone which is then displayed on my headunit. Perfect for getting extra dials without machine gunning my dashboard with gauge pods. -

Comes down to each persons own definition of ruined I guess. Personally I believe they look incredible and I think having seen these, a standard one would be kinda boring

Dont worry he's got his eyes closed lol That's the guy who runs RWB (Rauh-Welt Begriff) Akira Nakai. He's seems a little off the wall by all accounts but he builds some pretty amazing cars.

Bosozoku (I think) This video has a bunch of Bosozoku lambos (which actually look quite good ) But about that one picture, do you think its actually possible to drive on wheels like that

Always taken my car to Japex for services etc. Ross is a top bloke and will sort you out no troubles.

Hi Sal, I dont know specifics but I would be very surprised if the Bremo and Non-Brembo calipers use the same pads, discs maybe pads probably not! IMHO I would never skimp on replacing brake parts. Nissan pads could well be the Brembo disc/pads but re-branded and with the prize marked up. Personally if you wanted to stick to OEM I'd look for Brembo discs and pads for your Bremo calipers. If you were looking for an upgrade I've been recommended both Stoptech and DBA discs and Hawk ceramic pads. In fact I am having some Hawk ceramic pads fitted next week. When its time for the discs to be done ill probably be going with DBA. Lastly, depending on where in London, your best bets for garages are probably Japex (Kings Langley) or Abbey Motorsport (Oxted) both are just outside the M25 so not sure if thats too far but I can highly recommend both!
