  1. What he said! If you could push the boat out, you could do an awful lot worse http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52802
  2. Nothing on Teesside and we are the petro-chemical capital of the country
  3. Thanks for that, but didnt realise how hard they are to find. I have emailed her the link, just need to find someone in Cheshire with a big boot to get it up to Newcastle
  4. The legal stuff could be a potential nightmare considering that you could be talking about elements of international law as well
  5. Bit of a long shot, but I have a collegue at work who needs a hard top for a Mk3 MX5 and idea where she may find a good second hand one? Thanks in advance
  6. We are all rats leaving the sinking ship eh?!
  7. As above. The rest of it is fitting, so really just where you have the confidence in the tech's
  8. I have to say that although I wouldn’t want anyone to die – however there is an element of making your own bed here.... Plus she has done nothing for twenty years or so to try and sort her issues out. Just to put things into perspective. I got a call from a good friend telling me that one of their 8 year old kids, friends, mum dropped dead this Tuesday, aged just 36, of a brain haemorrhage, a clean living lass who leaves behind a husband and two infant children. That’s ****!ng sad.
  9. this looked interesting... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201203442871614/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-from/6000/price-to/7000/model/grand_cherokee/make/jeep/page/4/postcode/ts36as/radius/1501?logcode=p
  10. I didnt think that the HRV's were 4wd ?
  11. Congrats on the new car I would think you could get an interface for the Ipod failry cheaply to get you up and running BTW
  12. I have always thought that the implant would be better off made with helium rather than saline, as it would add extra lift to prevent sagging and they would be lighter too. Also as an added bonus helium is inert and therefore wouldn't cause any latent issues with seepage. Who need an MD
  13. Very clever man But I couldnt help but notice this on the same page!! http://jalopnik.com/5884177/worlds-largest-breasts-save-drunk-drivers-life?popular=true
  14. Long shot but ..... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3579177.htm
  15. I don’t know anyone who has £1500 to knock off a used car of this value in this climate, if so the car would be vastly overpriced to start with, no harm in asking though. Use this as research as there is a eclectic bunch of cars here with similar mileages on that you have been offer, naturally the spec comes into it but TBH there is an 06 plate on here similar mileage etc etc http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/nissan/350_z/postcode/ts36as/radius/1501/price-from/8000/maximum-mileage/up_to_40000_miles/seller-type/trade_adverts/price-to/10000/maximum-age/up_to_10_years_old/sort/priceasc/page/1
  16. Be very careful they all breathe fire and eat small babies for lunch, the most evil bunch of bastards in the world Price check reserch on the net (Autotrader) as they should price match for a like for like car. What you aggree to be done to the car is as important as the ticket price. I would far rather have the car a the ticket price but have a full service done a good cosmetic tidy up of the trim and body work and a good warrenty. On handover just make sure that they have done whats aggreed and it's documented, don't assume anything, ie ALL used cars come with two keys a service book and a full tank of fuel!! At the least you need a documented check list of the work they have done to the car as it should have basic safty checks done an MOT cert. etc Also I would check the tyres are good not just legal! Best of luck with the purchase
  17. Just as another point of view on this. I bought my wife a private plate for her car some years ago. Pro's = not a bad investment, un like the car itself, they don’t tend to depreciate. Con's = pain in the arse to change to another car and very expensive to do (£80 to swap over & £105 to retain) Just something to bare in mind....
