If it means finding that perfect zed that fits your criteria then i wouldn't think twice about travelling up to Scotland to buy one. If you want members that are close to the Zed to have a look at the car before travelling some distance to look/buy then I'm sure someone won't mind having a look on your behalf!

I think I have the same exact issue but only seems to occur when engine is cold. Once i have been driving for about 2-3 minutes it goes. It does sound like the window is not completely up but this is not the case. It is a strange one!
