  1. Did you enter some type of European Cannonball run or something?! 25 Hours non stop!! I don't want to know what you did about going to the bathroom. The bathroom.... I cut a hole in the footwell! Nah, just fancied a holiday and was chasing some sunshine! haha. Of course I stopped for coffees a fuel! Wouldn't mind doing something like that in a convoy of zeds next time though!
  2. I've only had the need to use cruise control on a couple of cars I've owned whilst doing 2-3 hour long motorway trips which tbh I was glad of at times as it allowed me to move my legs away from the pedals to get some blood circulating. Like you though I can't imagine actually putting my faith in the technology to stop the vehicle or steer the vehicle around traffic or in an emergency. Just think it's one step a little too far. I know! I regularly do 4-9 hour trips to the UK... even one drive I did was 25 hours non-stop from Luxembourg to Lisbon. I can safely say, cruise control was very very handy!
  3. That's what "cruise control" is for. Honestly can't see why you'd realistically need to or want to take your hands away from the wheel or eyes off the road. Yeah, I know... I am still of the opinion that using cruise control is lazy (although it does come in handy). Taking my hands off the wheel would be completely out the question if I had autopilot. I am always cautious when technology has my life in its hands, but trusting this software to react for me while travelling at 70mph is a big no-no for me.
  4. I would tell them to shove it. You have your parcel. Your business with them has concluded. You really think that a company the size of UPS is going to try and squabble over £50? Tell them to prove it was indeed 32cm bigger than quoted. When they say that they can't, as said previously, kindly inform them where they can stick their BS £50 charge!
  5. I'm of the same opinion. I could understand the benefit of an autopilot function on long trips, but considering the Tesla has a range of merely 370km (assuming you'll travel a maximum of 185km each way on your trip), there's no real point to it as that is only a 1.5 hour ride each way roughly. I personally take way too much pleasure from driving myself, instead of trusting some software developed by people I do not know.
  6. Those spacers are far from cheap!
  7. Nothing wrong or strange with that 370...
  8. This thread really is a fantastic read Jeff. One of the best Zeds I have seen!
  9. Honestly mate, I would take the full system if I was you! That's a great deal considering it's nearly a grand new. Very much like my Invidia Gemini system!

    What a knob!

Yeah I changed mine over from the burnt orange OEM knob... was so surprised with how small the Nismo is! But then again, everyone has their own opinion of knob sizes............ Fact is, loved the look of the carbon fiber one, so searched for months and finally found a good deal to import from Japan
  11. They have one available on eBay if you fancy it? http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/Zen-Chi-Aerobic-Massager-Help-Back-Pain-Weight-Loss-/10000000012088422/g.html
  12. I second the being confident but more importantly, not arrogant!
  13. using mobile app .i did go to full site option but still can't uoload Download Tapatalk app to your phone (it's free) and hook it up to the forum. It'll be MUCH easier to upload pics from that.
  14. I don't think we have paying members on here... you can however donate to the forum if you'd like someone to tell you how to upload pics? I jest... are you operating on your computer or off tapatalk app on your phone?
  15. Or maybe the OP's car if he gets too carried away round roundabouts? Seriously though, if its your first rear drive car just take it easy. Especially on the road, but have fun Don't jinx me Ricky .and yea im taking it steady now.had a bit of a scare a few days after buying her coming off a roundabout and nearly had a magic moment in my pants so its kinda grounded my enthusiasm for the time been He's not wrong though... especially as it's your first RWD car. I started off gradually by turning off TCS when I had loaaaaddsss of room to play if I made a mistake (which I did initially) To this day I am always cautious as an accident would inevitably mean furher unnecessary costs to repair the zed.
  16. +1 I second Mr. Lee's post... I went to Sly and had the same for my bushings! Stay away from the stealership!
  17. ahh great news .tbh i dnt like having TCS on because every time it slips it kills the power too which is proper annoying .an okay that makes sence as there was an old land-rover next to mine so maybe that's where I picked up the transfer box reference. he did definitely say it damages something tho . Having traction control off has absolutely no effect or damage on the zed. I have had mine for getting on 6 years now, and I like to take it off occasionally when I fancy a bit of fun! Also, I had my camshaft position sensor go on the car at one point, and until I got the replacement part delivered, I had to uplug the sensor. I had traction control off for about 3 months constantly (because a lot of that time was trying to figure out what part to get). Nothing happened to the Zed, except I learned how to control her without the TCS. i am starting to get the feeling the mech is talking sh1te lol.an okay thats good to hear because im just starting to get a feel for it with TCS off .absolutely puts a grin on my face every time the arse end kicks out coming off a roundabout .....the girlfriend isnt impressed tho haha The girlfriend isn't impressed? - She will be. If not, you might need to look into trading her in for a newer model she is the newer model .
  18. I highly doubt that your TCS is off due to spacers being on the rear but not the front. I was running spacers only on the rears for about a month before I had my front spacers delivered. Never threw up the TCS as being disabled... have you run a code reader to see if it spits out any codes?
  19. Is buying it off the internet not an option? Surely Amazon Prime could deliver it same/next day no? (that is, if they sell it!)

  21. If it were me, and I really wanted to job, I would simply explain that I felt the connection issues on the phone call hindered my responses and does not reflect any inability I have in terms of knowledge/expertise. Finish with something along the lines of this job is your preferred choice and you would thoroughly enjoy the prospect of taking on the challenges that this position has to offer.
  22. Where is this "Kodderminster" you speak of? Could you by any chance be referring to Kidderminster?
  23. I'm gonna say it was probably a re-trim before this guy bought the car.
